That game had a lot of references to other stuff though, I mean, the textures in area 69 DO look similar to Black Mesa, they're both underground bases in the middle of the desert. and the fact the crowbar is only seen there and it's not a weapon anywhere else in the game. and the room that comes before it looks like the test chamber from the first game.

Look at microsoft, it costs 30$-60$ just to buy a game, and dlc and online costs more.. where on somewhere like Steam the same game say l4d is completely free and the actual game is cheaper.
