As a professional graphic designer. I fondly remember the years gone by when young members of this crew would produce some seriously amazing artworks, impressing me with their ingenious usage of the toolset offered by CS5.

Now i'm looking in the recent pages of this thread and i'm seeing almost all of the fundamental rules of design being broke, by which I mean:

Terrible usage of white space
No use (or far too much reliance upon) contrast
Bad balance
Bad proximity/unity of sig elements
Bad alignment
Poor use of repetition/consistency

And don't even get me started on the fucking typography.

Bad kerning
Bad tracking
Awful awful awful rasterisation
etc.

And this is just from a theoretical perspective, i've neglected to mention how flat-out ugly/hideous the majority of these new sigs are.

You guys need to go back and learn your fucking basics. This is a terrible shame.
