Saying gay ain't ok people. It's silly and unnecessary.
I'd really like to know why gay was chosen as the minority though instead of say Asian People, atheists or people who wear glasses.

Bitchin be comin' to Facebook
So a new website has launched that lets people anonymously post comments about people and tie it back to their Facebook accounts. Time to sit back, have some pop-corn and watch the bitching commence.
Oh, and the tears. Lot's of young girls tears.

Yes, I started in 2008 and if you guys think I have many reviews now, I would have been probably #1 at this point had I started then. Now for the rest of my life, I have to go back and try to review every single submission I saw between the years 2004 and 2008. I hope I reach that goal some day, my friends.
Again, this is a real bucket. We can all empty into shit like this, its good refreshing and relieving. You should try it yo'. Tell them what you think really really. And whispering don't count.

I will fight this monster until the day I die.
That would be the meaning of "I'm taking this secret to my grave."...
But it eats me up and has changed who I am....
I cannot be alone in my head because there's a monster I keep caged that I don't acknowledge or understand and I just keep it locked there for safe keeping. Better I fight my own monsters than be honest with those around me and face the repercussion of heartbreak of distrust. This is my burden to bear, and I bear it with skill.
Don't regret man, if you think you're gonna regret...think twice. Think thrice. Think 4ice.
The few minutes of happiness aren't worth the decades of fighting a monster. Most people will crack and only time will tell if I'm strong enough to fight this battle to the grave. The only reason I would lose is selfishness or sheer stupidity, but when you're feeling low to begin with? You're not exactly in the best spot to make judgment calls.
TL;DR? Regret is Bad Dude. For realz, no gimmicks *large emo sigh making others around him wonder what he's typing* See my post icon? That's me living with regret.
You see this right here? This is the bucket of truth that we all need to look at, pass comment and drink if it looks tasty. This is brilliant. It's like Charlie Sheen minus the ego and the hysterical descendancy. It's a 'torpedo'o truth'.
Spot on.
Go make your own buckets. This mans got his and its rock solid. Fuck your ponies, this is regret.

Regretting things is awful. But reading about all the regrets of others helps to mask all the confusion.
What are our biggest regrets?

Everybody won here, so I don't see what Reaper is bitching about. The girl gets money, and gets to be a little "pop star" and the record label gets the cash for doing all the other work. Both sides make money, both sides win. Everyone is happy... hooray.
Also, most teenage girls want attention. I doubt she cares if that attention is good or bad.
Sure everybody won in the short-term. But I don't think this scandal is going to do Rebecca, nor any of her potential successors any favours in the future.
If people are happy for companies to operate without social/moral obligations then that's fine by me. It just feels like we're taking a step backwards to the days when the supplier was king and we were all captive customers.

You believe that it was the responsibility of both Rebecca and her family to make themselves fully aware of all possible repercussions. That's fine.
I believe that Ark should have taken responsibility and fully communicated all possible repercussions to Rebecca and her family. Equally fine in my opinion.
I have no problem with personal responsibility, i'm fully aware of its importance. However, i'm an 18 year old working in an incredibly competitive industry with a solid education behind me and a supportive family.
I don't think me or you are the people that Ark is attractive to. Ark is attractive to highly unstable impressionable people that see only the positives of their dream.

Precisely. A pretty dastardly thing to do to a young girl that was just wanting some fun.
The only way to protect yourself from the internet, is to avoid the internet like the plague. Which is not feasible for modern businesses and artists.
In which case Ark could either make more respectable music, or cease to exist. Either are fine by me.

It's kind of like if you've ever been on the boardwalk, and you see those places where you can get old timey photos of yourself dressed up as a bank robber. You're not actually a bank robber, and you aren't going to play one in a hollywood A-list film, but you could show all of your friends and be as delusional as you wish about it and tell them you really did rob that bank!
Old timey photographs have much less "come back to bite you" potential than terrible music/music videos.
Old timey photographs create much less hatred/stupidity than terrible music/music videos.
I don't know many 13 year old girls who could have handled the situation as well as Rebecca has. If a less stable, mature girl had been in her position then the fallout could have been a hella of a lot worse.
I see your point and I understand that it was entirely Rebecca's choice to sign up to Ark. But I do think that Ark could do a much better job of protecting members of their so called "musical family".

I never said anyone was. I just think it's sad little girls are being exploited.
How much is she going to regret this video in 6,12,18 months time? A hellla' of a lot I think.
How much will Ark care? Not at all. They made they're money. They've moved onto the next one.
Sure, but the share of money given to the artist differs broadly within each contract. I.e Joe Smith signed up to Hulu records might get x percent but Jannet Smith signed up to Cone Lable may only get y.
Given that Ark is taking a quantity over quality approach to the artists they sign, they have a very small profit margin. Which means that their artists most likely have an even smaller profit margin.
Furthermore, Ark are selling themselves as an experience "hey, you come hang with us and make a song and music video and live the dream". They're not selling themselves as a viable business opportunity "hey, you'll make loads of $$$ if you sign with us".
All the girls that signed with Ark wouldn't have gotten picked up at other record labels, so they most likely signed a pretty shit deal.
You think that's not going to happen here? Please point me to a link or source that says otherwise.

Ark Music Factory is like American Idol, but everybody wins without any auditions. It really is pretty horrible.
Please let this not be the future of music.
How many child stars can you fit in Billboard's hot 100?

there's a whole fucking army of them. it's like android...but for music.

oh this is hilarious:
"things happen fast in the information age! Just one week ago no one had ever heard of Rebecca Black and virtually no one had seen her Ark Music Factory video for the song "Friday." But, thanks in large part to a mention on Tosh.0, Rebecca's Dionysian dissection of teen angst and euphoria has garnered well over 5 million page views and is on its way to becoming the biggest pop song by a teenager since "Oops, I Did It Again!"
And don't think for a second that the executives in charge at Ark Music Factory are unaware of Rebecca's potential! In the spirit of Tiffany and Debbie Gibson they have announced Rebecca Black will be going on tour - playing to packed houses of screaming, adoring teenage fans at malls across America!
News of the tour has already sparked the formation of dedicated fans who plan to follow Rebecca from town to town, creating a counterculture based on their mutual love for Friday and fun. The media has already started to refer to them as Blackheads.
And just in case you can't read the poster above, here are the dates all typed up!
April 19 - Hollywood & Highland Center (Los Angeles, CA)
April 20 - Hollywood & Highland Center (Los Angeles, CA)
April 22 - Park Meadows (Denver, CO)
April 27 - Natick Collection (Boston, MA)
April 29 - Water Tower Place (Chicago, IL)
May 3 - Fair Oaks Mall (Washington, DC)
May 4 - Houston Galleria (Houston, TX)
May 6 - Mall of America (Minneapolis, MN)
May 7 - Cherry Hill Mall (Philadelphia, PA)
May 24 - Stonestown Galleria (San Francisco, CA)
May 30 - Greenwood Mall (Bowling Green, KY)
June 1 - Mall of Georgia (Atlanta, GA)
June 2 - Westfield Southcenter (Seattle, WA)
June 5 - Dadeland Mall (Miami, FL)
June 6 - Scottsdale Fashion Square (Phoenix, AZ)
June 7 - Fashion Place (Salt Lake City, UT)
June 29 - Times Square (New York, NY)
I'm excited for Rebecca - it must be a wonderful thing to realize you are the next Britney Spears! But, I really think she needs to get a new tour manager. I don't think any musician has ever played consecutive dates in Atlanta, Seattle, Miami and Phoenix! And what's with all the open Fridays? She plays one Friday in May and none in June?!? (By the way, that Friday date at the Mall of America in Minneapolis on May 6 is preceded by a Thursday. That is followed by a show in Philadelphia on Saturday and Sunday comes afterwards.)
According to the poster you can get your tickets at TicketWeb.com, although nothing is turning up yet when you search for Rebecca Black."

The Internet (yes, it's supposed to be capitalised) has made publishing easy as pie. But when everyone's publishing, who's reading?
Does anyone here read any blogs? If so, how the fuck did you find them?
