Hey there fellow newgrounders. I'm sure throughout your life, you've all seen some stuff that you seriously can't explain! I'm talking things that science, religion, even reasoning can't explain. This forum was created to share such stories.

Pictures to accompany these posts are always appreciated, though not necessary. Also, instead of instantly calling bs on anyone's stories, please at least have a good reason to call bs. We don't need any unnecessary fighting between members here.

Enjoy!

I'll start us off. This here was taken in Maryland, the night that meteorite struck Russia. I was attempting to get a picture of the sideways tornadoes in the sky, when this thing came streaking down out of the clouds, and crash landed in a nearby field. I staked out in the forest that was close-by, as black vehicles pulled up, and quarantined the crash site. I went back the next day with some friends to check it out, and NOTHING was there!

Make of this picture what you will, cause I still don't know what I saw.

I never really liked FLCL, I don't know why but I never found it as good as everyone else said it was

It's certainly a very odd, and different anime, but I think that's what made it so appealing. :)

It's a nice hobby. I make them myself as I find them interesting to create. However those making them just to get others to see them and not to actually enjoy it are indeed retarded.

Views should be a bonus, just making and having them should be the main thing. Making threads based on just trying to get views is frankly shit.
Agreed, also, I guess I should have explained. I'm not your pewdiepie, hell, I ain't the Peanut Butter Gamer. I'm just some derp who loves playing video games, and entertaining people. Take it or leave it. :)
Of course you aren't, as you haven't gone viral and likely aren't as annoying. That doesn't change the fact that making threads for the sole purpose of advertising your channel is still whoring out like them though.

Shove it in your signature and news posts, and mention it when such discussions come up.
I'm not the Angryvideogamenerd
Do you even understand the difference between Let's Playing and reviewing? Also as a bonus note, he doesn't whore himself out like you are, his fans do.

Jesus, calm down. I'm not sure what made you so angry, but please don't direct that anger towards me. Notice how I never posted a link to my let's plays, nor do I actually plan to. This was just a forum, to let people post their let's plays and enjoy watching them. Obviously LPs are a super sore subject for most, so I'll just avoid it.

Have a great day.

Response to: Anime Club Posted February 25th, 2013 in Clubs & Crews

To the leader of this crew, thanks for making it. For me, anime shouldn't be watched just cause it's anime. It's gotta have a compelling story, worth-while characters, great direction.....basically, it needs to be so good that if it were made in another format, it'd be just as good. :)
Some of my personal favorites are:
Cowboy Bebop
Trigun
Soul Eater
Ghost in the Shell (Original, 2nd gig, and stand alone complex)
Death Note
Tengen Toppen Gurren Lagann
Code Geass

But here's one I wish was a longer series: Fooly Cooly.

I both play in tourneys, and spectate on them. :) For characters with good grab range, ya might try Samus or Link.

Response to: Predict the future Posted February 25th, 2013 in General

Those are some highly accurate predictions! Let's try another one.

More young people (especially 90's gen. and earlier) will either knowingly or accidentally awaken their innate abilities. Make of this what you will, but it is no secret that the human race as a whole are an extraordinarily unique species.

I find that when we open our minds, we end up realizing that our own world is not nearly as small as we think. I practice something known as "Aura Healing" for instance. I use my own aura, make it flare, and if I am sick, rapidly re-heal myself. :)

Let's Plays Posted February 25th, 2013 in Video Games

Hey there folks. I love making Let's Plays, just for the hell of it. This thread will be just for posting your Let's Play videos, so that people can enjoy them. :)

Constructive criticism only please!

Alright folks, have fun, and enjoy!

Response to: Super Smash Brothers Crew (Ssbc) Posted February 25th, 2013 in Clubs & Crews

This is a great crew! :)

I play each new iteration in this series fiercely, though mechanics wise, I must say to date, I've enjoyed melee the most.

Since I currently play brawl, my main character has been Pit a lot of the time.

An interesting trick with him, his down B mirror-shield move can also negate all damage from physical attacks, if timed properly, and unlike the normal shield-bubble, it never breaks.

I'm also an avid Ness fan. He surprisingly isn't used a lot in tourneys, but I like to surprise my foes by wiping the floor with 'em, using Mr. "Okay". :P

Anyone else use Ness or Pit a lot?

Took this while eating breakfast in Canada. It's one of those crazy Vortex clouds. The funnel connecting the top cloud to the bottom, is said to be full of highly condensed lightning!

Hey there folks. Remember that meteor shower a couple of days/a few weeks back? Well, during the night that huge ass meteor hit Russia, this thing came crashing out of the sky, and hit a small farmstead here in Maryland at about 2:00am.
I staked out off in the distance, (I'd seen WAY TOO MANY sci-fi movies to be dumb enough to go near it).
An hour or so later, I see black vehicles pull up and quarantine the crash site.
I go back the next day to check up on it with a few friends, and nothing is there!
Dafuq?
Anywho, this is a picture of whatever it was as it came crashing down. This photo has not been doctored in any way, shape or form. I was originally trying to get a pic. of the Sideways tornadoes up in the sky.
Make of this photo what you will, as I've no idea what it actually was.

This is an awesome club by the way!

Brainstorm Explosion! Posted February 24th, 2013 in Collaboration

Hello fellow awesome folks! I'm a voice-actor here on Newgrounds, and I love the diversity of entertainment here. There's never a dull moment. :)

Listen, I'm looking to attach myself to as many projects as possible (without wearing myself to thin, hahaha.) So ladies and gents, this thread is for any and all artists. Let's make the biggest team Newgrounds has ever seen, and produce some kick-ass content! :D

A few rules:

1. Only post to this thread if you have a legitimate idea (nothing racist, sexist, or the like)

2. I'm looking to meet awesome, like minded folks, so if you are bored, but have nothing to contribute in any way, shape, or form. Keep on truckin', cause this ain't the thread for you.

3. I'm more than happy to lend my voice to any game/animation/song or what-have-you, but please realize that when I'm working on one thing, I tend to devote myself to it 100%. This doesn't mean that I find your work any less worthy of my time. It just means, like anyone else, I've got shit ta do, ya know? :)

And rule number 4. This thread was built with the intent of bringing cool people out of their shell, to help come together, and rock socks! THERE WILL BE NO HATING OF ONE ANOTHER IN THIS DOJO! Ya dig? :) I am not interested in your "He said, she said stories", and I guarantee no-one else is either. Just be respectful.

There, now that all of that stuff is out of the way.....

Hi, I'm greyhawk241, let's make some entertainment!

Audio files won't work! Posted February 20th, 2013 in Audio

Hey there fellow newgrounds members. I've been attempting, over, and over, AND OVER again to submit my original narrative voice-over work to the audio portal. It does not break any rules, it is in the proper format (.mp3), and I'm always fully filling out the proper parts of the "Submit yours" section. What I do not understand, is why the "preview" button is no longer highlighting, so that I may click on it.

This is extremely frustrating, has anyone else come across this issue? Also, I should mention, that I previously uploaded these files with no problem.

Also, one of my many crazy sleep talk dreams: I am a knight/executioner looking fellow, preparing for an attack from a rival kingdom. My queen has invited me into her courtyard for tea. I have agreed, as it would have been considered treason not to. I do not drink the tea however, out of basic principle.

For some reason, my girlfriend Raya is there, dressed in a very rogue-like uniform, and she starts bad-mouthing the queen, saying that her decisions ultimately have lead to the corruption of the kingdom, and that the queen is the reason we are even having this war.

I whisper to Raya, "Be quiet, the queen is on edge these days. She'll behead anyone who even looks at her funny!"

Raya smiled at me, and winked saying, "So will you".

I said to the queen, "You haven't been acting like your normal self recently, and what's with all of the damn monkey.....things?"

Suddenly, jumping all about the tree-tops were things that looked like a mixture between a monkey and a German Shepard (so half monkey/half dog), covered in fire, and they kept on leaning their arms down toward the queen. She kept on feeding them little crumpets and cakes. I was disturbed.

"Queen" I said. "Cut the crap!" I drew my scythe from my back, and put it about 2-inches away from the queens neck. "Listen up, I know you aren't really our queen, by now I'd wager, you killed her a long time ago!"

I sliced the impostor's head, clean off her body. Raya and I made a break for it, with those crazy monkey things following in hot pursuit. We made it to the top of a nearby mountain, sounding a special alarm, to let our people know that the enemy has arrived.

She and I ended up systematically wiping out all of the monkey things, we made-out......and yeah, that's the end of that dream.

The funny thing is, that night, (In real life) Raya decided to record all of that onto her I-phone. :P

The Human Spectre:

Carson Spectre was just about to unravel the biggest case of his life. Local big business man and all around scumbag Morgan Thyme was not a very likable man, nor an intelligent one. But he had a secret to his success, and Carson aimed to figure out what that was. One day Carson manages to sneak passed security, and work his way towards MorganâEUTMs office.

The door is opened ever so slightly and Carson can see that thereâEUTMs no one inside. He slowly makes his way in and locks the door behind him. He notices a note left upon MorganâEUTMs desk. He also notices a unlocked window, which will be a great escape in an emergency.

Carson knew that judging by his past cases, that wouldnâEUTMt be long. He continued to go over and read the note. He didnâEUTMt understand it. All that was on the note was a list of events, and times in which they would occur. He noticed another odd thing, the note was dated as being ten years in the future! At the very bottom it said âEUoeLong live the Corporate States of AmericaâEU. Carson found this very intriguing, and pocketed the note for safe keeping.

Suddenly in the middle of the office opened a vortex. Arcs of energy went shooting off in every direction, and out stepped Morgan, with an odd device that looked like a pocket watch in his hand. Frozen by the shock, Carson stood there in awe, right before coming to the sudden realization that he was about to be busted. Carson ran head on into Morgan, tackling the watch right out of his hands. Never one for thinking a plan through, Carson grabbed the watch and dived out the window.

As he fell to his death, Carson grasped the watch as hard as he could. And in the blink of an eye, vanished. When he awoke, he found himself in a slum like dystopia, a ruined image of the world he just left behind. Now Carson must use his wits to uncover the mystery behind how he got there, whatâEUTMs going on with the world, and how he can get back to the past, in order to prevent this terrible nightmare.
