oh yeah anytime I go to listen to something on the audio portal I turn the volume WAAAY down as a precaution... like on my macbook I'll usually have my volume at 5-6 clicks at least for itunes stuff, AP stuff, half the time it's PLENTY loud at 4... (if that makes any sense)

You're supposed to stay hydrated when you're sick, so drinking doesn't really seem like a good idea. If you do though you'll have to drink a lot of water to make up for it, or you'll probably get a massive headache.

Hey even though that is audio you're talking about I don't think many people will know here. You'd be much better off asking in the flash forum. This forum is about the audio production side of things and I don't think most people here have even ever used flash at all.

If you're having a problem with echo it's because your walls are too reflective. Try recording in a room that has carpeting rather than hardwood, curtains or some fabric to absorb sound, furniture, etc... If you really need to you could treat the room like other people have said but the choice of room itself should be considered first.
