What I meant by tribute was just in a sense recognizing the awesomeness of the series, using the release of GTA IV as a sort of catalyst for it, but yes, everything still being a parody, though I wouldn't see the problem with one or two serious(ish) parts, as long as they were very cool.

So assasin, like I said earlier, I have assignments still to do for university over the next few weeks, but in my free time I'll be putting a lot of effort into my part and the menu. I'm looking forward to this being done! :)

I had a slight brainstorm, however...

What do you think about possibly making this less of a GTA IV *only* collab, and making it more of a tribute to the awesomeness that is IV, and allowing parts based on any GTA game? Just a little idea that popped into my head, though the original idea is perfectly great! :)

I had absolutely no idea that cardboard box jokes would be so badly rejected. I haven't seen many of the previous MGS parodies on NG, and I've only ever played the first game, so I put a fair bit of effort into my part (yes, a cardboard box joke), but now I see that I quite possibly wasted my time! I agree that the disapproval of box jokes should have been made clearer from the beginning, but I'm happy to make a new part! I just have little time to do it really in the 15 days we have left, as I have assignments for uni to hand in within this time which, I might add, are my final 2 assignments EVER :) zoot!

I totally understand the frustration from the staff if the majority of submissions really have a distinct lack of effort in their creation, but they really can't all be THAT bad... can they??? :O

I've pretty much finished my entry for this collab, and I'm really pleased with it so far, though there's a couple of things I'm improving on still.

Does anybody know if, depending on whether or not someone's part is good enough, they could send in more than one part and get them both shown? Or would it only be the best of the two?
