XBOX 360 question?!?! Posted October 16th, 2007 in General

Hey Newgrounds,

I was wondering...I have an iMac G5 which I bought in august of last year, so a little over a year ago. I also bought an XBOX 360 this summer. Is there some type of converter or cable/software that I can buy to take the RCA outputs of the xbox and run it to a Firewire or USB that can plug into my mac (so i can play it on my computer)? I've been searching for the past few days and haven't come up with anything. Any help would kick major ass...

yeah i know i have to network them, there is only one ethernet outlet in my room. How can I get both computers to share it without buying a router? Some other type of splitter or something?

ethernet question Posted October 24th, 2006 in General

I've got a question for all of you geniuses out there. I live in a dorm room. I have a single so I live by myself. I have two computers that I need to connect to the internet. Is there some way that I can connect both computers to the internet, through ethernet cable, without the university finding out that I'm doing it? And I would like to avoid buying a router.

Thanks, greenlite

God granted a man one wish... Posted April 27th, 2006 in General

this is a joke my dad told me...

God granted a man one wish...

and the man said "God, I want a gigantic brige guilded in gold and silver to be built around the entire world...or I want to understand the female sex."

God responded, "You want that bridge to be how tall again?"

The simple fact is that all of these people are breaking the law. Police are meant to uphold the law, and that means arresting anyone, and I mean ANYONE who violates a law. Drug users, dealers, rapists, and murderers alike. The war on drugs only needs to be reformed, because obviously it is failing miserably. If we eliminate drug enforcement completely it would be chaos.

kick ass story Posted December 6th, 2005 in General

I got a great story of finding love. And just a little disclaimer this only happened because I'm so smooth. Alright here goes.

I walked onto the elevator in my building to go get some lunch. And there was an extremely attractive girl on the elevator. When the doors shut she looked at my crotch and said "Your fly is down." I quickly zipped it up then looked at her and asked for her cell number. And guess what she gave it to me!!

My question to you is: Should I call this girl and hook up with her?

I thought it already was passed...

Not sure if it has or not

I think that this is the most ridiculous thing that I have ever read in my life. The education system is a complex thing. You can't just decide on one type of system. I completely disagree. Education is fine. The problem is that some educators are not committed to giving 100% to a childs education. And the No Child Left behind law that Bush is trying to pass is attempting to do just that.

Not really. Thats very different. All they do here is kiss babies and hug old people (and promise them free medicine).

Response to: Videogames cause violence??? Posted October 10th, 2005 in Politics

The only people that play violent video games and then kill innocent people are the stupid ones. The reason that normal people don't do it because they are smart enough to know that it doesn't affect how regular healthy people behave. Like you said its become a scapegoat.

If the draft did get reinstated I wouldn't dodge it. I would go to war even if I didn't agree with the policies behind it. It's your duty to go.

Umm, you're kidding me right. Bill Clinton was a good president in the sense that he was popular in the senate and just overall that he was able to get much more done. But he did get impeached. Hillary just does not the presidental qualities that I see in other women on the Hill. But saying that just because Bill was a "good" president means Hillary will be too is just ignorant as hell.

Course they're smarter. But it's difficult to compare Europe and the United States. There exist great cultural differences here and over there. So much more has affected their culture.

Are you saying that another woman, lets say she's influential and wealthy. How bout Oprah? Would she be a better president that Hillary?

Response to: Self Hating Americans Posted October 4th, 2005 in Politics

I don't think we have to worry. Just face it America isn't ready for a female president.

So I want to hear from all the people in America that burn our flag, refuse to say the pledge of alliegence, and go around spitting their tired "I hate America" rhetoric. I want to hear your reasons for hating my country, and since theres no way to punch you in the face via the internet I'll even listen to you, but I doubt youll make any good points and I'll just leave angrier than ever.

I think that people do all of those things because of exactually what you said. They view it as some type of "fad." One person had those type of beliefs and others latched onto them and adopted them as their own. Thats what our country was built on. They have the right to do it as well. They look at the short term and not the long term. If they don't like certain aspects of our culture the smart thing to do is take action and stop complaining instead of burning flags ect. ect.

I don't know if anyone knows this, but I'm just putting it out there. Technically the only qualification you need to become a supreme court justice is you have to go to law school. That's it. You don't need to pass a bar exam or have served as a judge or lawyer. It helps for getting selected but its not required.

Response to: Communism: Good or Bad? Posted October 3rd, 2005 in Politics

Communism is based on the idea that people will not compete with each other and not try to gain control, to all work together. This is impossible because humans are naturally conditioned to always attempt to gain what is necessary to survive, that is not possible in Communism. Besides Communism is not a political system it is an economic system like Capitalism. Just read the Communist Manifesto dumbass.

If I had to pick one I'd say Rage Against the Machine, it seems like many more of their songs address political and cultural issues. System of a Down not so much.
