Dead.

And cremated.

This, actually I don't have any grandparents anymore. They're all dead. But when she was alive my grandma was the shit. Baking cookies, monies on my birthday and all that other grandma shit.

Well she's a girl so because she put out she is gonna get the whore label. If this was a guy we were talking about I doubt there would even be a thread about it. Double standard ftw? Not really...

The 5 second rule does not apply in my house. I have two cats and a very fluffy dog. All the vaccuming in the world wouldn't do any good because there will always be hair on my floor.

Response to: books you read in school Posted January 31st, 2009 in General

The Witch of Blackbird pond was good. Its a first person view on what was going on with the Witch Trials in New England.
Heart of Darkness, this is the book the movie Apocalypse Now is based now. Terribly boring imo.
I loved Lord of the Flies for some reason.
Bram Stokers Dracula, a good book and I was surprised it made it on the summer reading list for a Catholic school.

Response to: How do people have different skin? Posted January 31st, 2009 in General

Yup, this is why Nordic people are pale because there is less sunlight/day hours in Norland. Therefore they do not need a lot of melanin to combat the UV rays because there are simply less in their environment.

Yay my dc problem is fixed and now I am one of my guilds' 3 healers. I respecced from shadow to holy so my guild would get a fighting chance at raids and not be in LFG for the rest of our lives. I am trying to learn the correct way to heal. Also to not overheal and go OOM so if any fellow holy priests have any suggestions I'm all ears!

My household seems to be in the process of reinfecting each other every other week. I had I cold that lasted two days but that is the worst I've gotten. I can't get a good nights sleep, however. I'm having problems blocking out the misery that is coughing, sneezing and sniffling which echoes constantly through our very thin walls.

Response to: New sword came in the mail Posted January 27th, 2009 in General

Nice sword, I have a broad sword which sits in my closet because its to heavy to hang on the wall. Its dull and useless but I'll never give it up.

True, but I also doubt they would use baby rats. I think this is disturbing because they are doing this to animals that are very young and cute. No one give a flying fuck about rats....

Response to: Hey NG! Say hello to my kitteh! Posted January 24th, 2009 in General

Yay I'm so happy for you and that you have found each other. This is why you always get a second opinion when dealing with anything medical! I like the name you gave him, its definitely unique as far as cat names go.

Your story made me smile for I also have a rescue kittie and her name is Nyx. Someone left her and her sister in a box in the park. Our neighbor is the animal warden at the shelter and she was the one who told us about them. We had just lost our cat weeks ago to old age so we were in need as well. I think they had a cold night out there because when we have our wood stove going, my kitties get so close to it they are practically on top of it lol. I hate people who treat animals as disposable property but I'm glad that there are people like us who do care enough to take these unfortunate souls in to our homes. In short <3!

I'm not quite sure what is worse the beeping or the overwrites. Example: "gosh darn it" covering the "Goddamn it" in a horrible attempt to edit without the beep.
