See, I consider myself a deist, though I follow mostly Christian ideals. I believe that the Bible has useful knowledge in it, but I also believe that it has been changed much over the years. Think about it... You know that game where you get a bunch of kids and they stand in a circle, and one person whispers a sentence to the next one? Something like "Sally's dog likes to fetch sticks" and by the time it comes back it's something like "There's a dog named Susan who eats paper cups." If people cannot take information and give it to someone else in THAT SHORT OF A SPAN, then why should I believe that the Bible has not been changed in the thousands of years that it's been around?

I am not bashing your religion. I am just questioning why the Bible is considered to be totally unchanged from when it was written.

You're retarded. You're totally stereotyping all Goths. Not all Goths cut themselves. In my experience, those kids are more "emo" (if you want to stereotype more) than Goths.

I consider myself Goth, because I believe that sadness and pain are a very natural part of human existence, though I am primarily an upbeat person. (I also happen to like Gothic music and clothing.) I don't try to fake happiness like so many evangelical Christians do all the time; saying that they have to be so happy because God is so good and all that jazz. That's wonderful, but I do think that they overplay the happiness a bit.

I think God's great too, but for it to make you unaware of your own feelings, and to hide them is absurd.
