The forum is going downhill because the better posters and long time regulars are leaving. Why? There is no real reason for them to stay. Post quality continues to drop, assholes are even bigger assholes and are getting away with it, and the maturity of the forums are is dropping due to an influx of kids who's balls haven't dropped yet while the older vets continue to trickle out the back door.

So the question is admin and mod staff, what are you going to do about the drop in site traffic? How are you going to keep newgrounds alive? How are you going to keep the office and store open? Where are you going to get a fresh supply of revenue from as this revenue continues to slowly fade? I can tell you, the number of kids and amount of childish shit on the forums and portals is appalling. And as much as I don't want to call it quits, I may just do so. I've been visiting and posting on newgrounds since 2000 when the site's main focus was murdering celebrities and fun, decent work. Now any dick head with a flash crew mass votes his shit through the portal, kids spam up the forums with the same tired old topics and ignore the search bar, and the post quality is fast approaching mouth breather status.

To give you an idea of how important this is to me, it is 1 am here, and I have a 2 and a half hour drive home ahead of me. Rather than getting started I am writing up this tldr block of text from my phone.

Soon, the only thing ng wise that I will be able to stomach doing and participating in are the meets. Very little if any children present, and likeminded people to have a good time with.

Rather than thinking of new ways to collect revenue for the site, shouldn't we be thinking of new ways to keep the community together, and even to grow it?
