Are you from Ireland or were you born in the US and have Irish ancestry? If you're not the first one, it doesn't count. People born in the US have American accents. Pretty obvious.

Let's say that what you are espousing is true. Correlation does not equal causation. Can you point to multivariant analysis that supports the hypothesis that skin color causes this disparity in IQ? If not, you are accepting such a hypothesis with woefully little supporting evidence.

However, despite IQ tests being written by whites, white people are not on the top of the IQ list. East Asian people, especially people from Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, have the highest IQs on average in the world, by a few points higher than Europeans.

Have you ever been to China or India? I have, and the poverty there accounts for the majority of people (many people living in old, musty apartments and too overcrowded) but it's not as bad as many other Southeast Asian countries.

This is very true. Most Hispanic people are Indigenous people with Spanish heritage mixed in. However, some Hispanics are purely Spanish, some are black. Some are even Asian. There are lots of Spanish-speaking people in Peru who are of Chinese descent. Lots of Chinese Latinos in Belize and some in Panama I think too.

So you're just trying to say that every single person who lives in the US is Caucasian? What about the massive population of non-whites in this country? I doubt a person of Mexican or Asian or Middle Eastern descent is going to just say "Oh I'm part Irish." However, I'm one of those rare exceptions.

You put poverty and sex trafficking over all of Southeast Asia and South Asia. While that is true for many countries, like Vietnam or Cambodia and maybe India, why Singapore? I know it's a tiny ass country with only 5 million people and it's a speck of the Earth, but it's one of the wealthiest countries in the world. It has the 3rd highest GDP per capita, higher than the US and Hong Kong.

Also Malaysia isn't all that impoverished. Kuala Lumpur for instance. Thailand is okay. The rest of Southeast Asia pretty much sucks though.

Many black people who were enslaved were raped by white people, many of whom happened to be of Irish descent. So many black people in the US do have Irish ancestry.

Also, many African Americans have Irish last names because their slave owners were of Irish descent. That doesn't mean that they had Irish blood, though. Shaquille O'Neal is an example.

It's interesting, to say the least. I don't think very many people in our country have much connection to Ireland. Yes, 10-20% of Americans may have Irish ancestry, partial or fully, but just because they're great-great-grandparents are from there does not mean that they have inherited Irish cultural traits. They're just Americans, really.

Anyway, I don't see what's so fascinating about Ireland. It seems like a neat little country and I'd like to visit, and I do have some ancestry there (but I definitely don't look Irish. I don't even look white) but I don't see how it's really that interesting. It's a very small country that's cold and wet all the time. I've known people who were there and said the weather sucked.

I would agree that yes, many African Americans do commit crimes in the US. This is because many of them were oppressed in history and have always been living in poverty. I live in a condominium complex with a lot of black people and most of them seem like decent people and there isn't that much crime here. However, there are many majority-black neighborhoods across the US where crime is a serious problem and gangs and violence run rampant.

Then again, most of the mass shootings in the US are done by white people. Aurora, Sandy Hook, Columbine, just to name the most obvious mass shooting rampages, were all done by white people. Also many other less publicized school shootings and murders have been committed by white people.

Every race and culture has its bad apples. It really is more correlating to poverty than race or culture.

Jamaica is not a really nice place to live. Not horrible, but not great. It's mostly impoverished. Jamaica is however a warm and beautiful, tropical country but it gets hot there and it's one of the most dangerous countries in the world. Belize in Central America seems nice, and maybe Brazil would be nice.

Also, what about Asian countries like Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan? Those are some of the wealthiest, most desirable countries on Earth to live. Singapore has the 3rd highest GDP in the world. They're all developed countries. However I'd say Europe is better than Asia.

Okay, that was a corny line, but I think everybody should understand where I'm coming from.

On a news website's comment section, there was this comment made by a guy who said that 99% of all the good things in the US were done by white people. He says he is Asian-American, but still credits that virtually everything good in the US is caused by Caucasian people, and that because the white population in the US is becoming less than 50% in another few decades that the U.S. will became a huge train wreck. Interestingly enough, he had 7 thumbs down but 4 thumbs up as I last checked the comment a few days ago. So a majority of people disagreed with his statement, but some still concurred. The other comments consisted of "the overflow of people from third world nations will turn the US into a giant toilet." One person who said that he is Latino even agreed with his statement, saying he doesn't particularly favor non-European cultures and thinks the U.S. should be majority white if it wants to get back on its feet. Not only that, but the Asian-American guy went on to say that only "white majority countries" are good places to live.

Oddly enough, these comments were posted on a news site for a very liberal area, where there is a lot of ethnic diversity and tolerance to different kinds of people.

Yet, some people have these ignorant views. Why does it matter where your ancestors come from, or the color of skin? How does that deter you from making good contributions to our country? I'd wonder what other people would think of this.

I think the only bad thing is if many people in the US came here and didn't learn English. However no matter what the color of your skin is, you are American if you are raised here in this country, and what those babbling idiots said was shit. Do you agree with their statement or not?

I don't understand what you mean. When you shoot a person, they know they will be in prison for a long time. Even if they don't get a lot of prison time, when they get out of prison, they will have a hard time finding a job except for a horrible job provided by a labor company. Their life will always be miserable for the rest of their lives unless they win the Lottery.

Unless what you meant was, he did it out of the heat of the moment and was really drunk at the time, maybe he would have a harder time understanding the consequences.
