That's basically the extent of it right there.

I had to start shaving when I was 14. I had a lot of facial hair. It wasn't just a little peach fuzz or a mustache. I'm talking like I had a full beard and neck stubble going.

Those first few times with a razor were hell. It burned so bad and I itched horribly.

I haven't been playing much online poker right now. I've turned one dollar into about fourty bucks at one point, but now my account's back to twenty bucks. I haven't had much of a chance to play either since I've been working twelve-hour shifts. Once I get some time to do so, you can gaurantee I'll be back at it trying to get my account up where I think I can get it.

So since that dickhead moved to third shift, second shift is the only thing available, eh?

Well think about it. Which is going to pay off more for you in the near future: seeing more of your girlfriend or having a full-time job with scarce time seeing your girlfriend?

Bud, it's not easy to find full-time work sometimes. I'd take the money and run with it for now. Then, if you find yourself able to financially set yourself up away from working full-time, then you can have that option. Plus, you never know when that third shift spot may open up again. Shit like that opens up all the time because people can't stand those hours.

Honestly, I think you'd be better off for now taking that job.

You know, I don't even care about what kind of message television shows are trying to convey. Besides little kids shows where kids may actually learn something, nobody's going to figure out things unless they figure it out for themselves. Society is the way it is for the most part mostly due to the fact that teenagers are emulating what they see from television and the internet more and more often. It's not always a bad thing obviously, but just some of the shit on television these days makes me think, "I hope this doesn't rub off on our future."

Hell, your town can't be too much smaller then mine, right? I could be wrong. The population in my town is 1,500. You figure there should be at least one weird character mixed into every town somewhere.

At 10/8/09 10:00 PM, SevenSeize wrote: We have one that lives under a local bridge and collects fake flowers. (maybe from cemetaries I dunno) and then decorates his spot under the bridge.

That is pretty demented if he's collecting those from a cemetary. If that's all he has to do, I feel for the guy.

At 10/8/09 09:58 PM, linkinpatt wrote: You mean this Aqualung right? Because this guy is awesome.

Heh, not quite. I don't think the Aqualung I'm describing even knows what a video game is, nor could he ever afford one. The only thing he likes to play is the little girls frolicing past him on the park bench, eyeing them with bad intent and watching their frilly panties run.

HEYYYYY AQUALUNG!

Haha. A hotdog cart on a freeway. I guess when you're homeless without any money, the best place to sell hotdogs is a busy freeway. He might get killed one of these times, but at least he knows to hit the right spots. :P

So if you've ever listened to the song "Aqualung" by Jethro Tull, you've heard the lyrics describe basically a homeless man who's down on his luck, but has this weird, demented side to him as well.

Do you have anybody like that roam the streets where you live? If so, what are they like, and how have they acted when you seen them?

I've had a few roam around my town. There was this one old guy who died recently that would scrounge together pennies to buy himself cigarettes. He also stole items from people's garages and tried to trade them to other people around town for sandwiches. I actually walked past him once before, and he just mumbled to himself constantly. It was pretty freaky. Almost fits the lyrics to "Aqualung" perfectly.

So Newgrounds, tell me about your Aqualungs.

Run the other way, obviously. Either that, or grab a bucket of popcorn and enjoy the show. Either way, I'm not evening considering entering that laundromat. That'd be worse than entering an abandoned house that reeks of a scary movie vibe.

Man I would've loved to see this incident happen.

So over the weekend, there was a call for the cops and an ambulance to our local laundromat. Supposedly somebody had passed out in there. Now you hear this, and you think it must've been an elderly individual.

Well, that's not the case here.

As the story goes, some middle-aged woman was really drunk and alone inside the laundromat. She was so drunk, she was actually naked inside there. Apparently she ended up slipping, falling, and hitting her head on something as she hit the floor. I mean, who cares what had happened really. The fact that she was liquored up and naked inside a laundromat is hilarious enough.

This was the same woman that was caught giving a blowjob to a guy in a back room at a bar last week. I was there when it happened, but thank god I didn't walk out to find that shit going on. I would've puked, just because this bitch is ridiculously ugly. I had never seen this guy before (the guy that received fellatio), but why would he subject himself to such an atrocity?

Heh, booze makes people do some crazy things. I feel sorry for the ambulance workers who had to tend to that woman. I'm sure they had to disinfect their eyeballs afterwards...

Posted: 09/25/09 07:28 PM

Forum: General

So a co-worker of mine told me the other day about this weird instance he happened to see in the pond in his backyard. He saw a frog that was living in it snatch up this bird that was close to the water and just ate him to the point where there was nothing left but the head floating around in the pond.

Sounds like a pretty gruesome sight to catch. Of course, I'm not caught up to date on my knowledge of frogs, nor did my co-worker friend state what type of frog was living in his pond. Whatever the case, he's going to release that frog into the river so he doesn't have to catch a glimpse of that again.

Anyways, I thought that was a pretty strange instance. Never before have I heard of a frog snatching a bird, dragging it underwater, and eating it. I guess I'm just ignorant of that fact, I suppose.

OBVIOUS ANSWER ALERT!

For me, it's been 311's album Uplifter. Now to be honest, I wasn't thoroughly impressed with the album at first. However, after playing it back a few times, it seems that every song has a resonation point to it. Is it 311's best work to date? I wouldn't say so to tell you the truth. However, I was impressed with the results.

Of course, it's already been announced he's going to take a five-year deal at another position with the club. I don't know. I guess we'll see what happens when the time comes next season. If Chipper really doesn't believe so, I wouldn't put it past Bobby Cox to rekindle the managing mood and go at it after 2010.

Then again, Chipper said he was going to retire in 2010 if he didn't get back to the form he was once in. I wonder if that has any correlation with Bobby Cox's decision?

If it's anything like Applebee's, the food is overpriced and is not even that great in the first place. Then again, I don't know if I can honestly juxtapose those two restaurants. I'd have to go to a Chili's first. I bet their baby back ribs would be something to try.

Think about it. The people in the safety equipment production business would make a killing. They'd have to produce more helmets and kneepads quicker than they could keep up with.

As for the actual state of the world, I'd say the people in Africa are the first to go. Look at how many dangerous animals and reptiles roam that continent. Retarded Africans would get stung, bit, eaten, and overall dismantled because they couldn't resist trying to pet the lion, or they had to try and jump rope with that giant cobra.

People living right by a body of water would drown. They'd see their reflection and try and chase after it. I'm guessing most of the mentally challenged can't swim unless they had some sort of water wings or floatation devices with them.

Overall, death would be a common theme.

Seriously, I don't feel like I can do anything the next day if I wake up hungover. I just lay in bed usually and watch some TV, maybe play the occaisonal video game. When it comes to getting up and doing something though, there's usually no chance in hell that will happen.

I guess the best thing to do is sleep it off. I try to, but it doesn't work because I can never force myself to sleep.

Posted: 09/03/09 04:47 AM

Forum: General

Shin splints are one of those things that you just have to kind of deal with. A big part of people getting them is to do with their shoes. Whether it's due to not enough support or maybe it's not the right type of shoe, that will speed up the process of shin splints. I almost got them when I did track in high school.

I guess surgery might be the only way of fixing them, but you can slow down the process of them getting worse by having more support in your shoes.
