Xbox 360 may need wired connection to live, but its worth it because you never have to worry where you are at, and less things to install. So let me magically fix your post!

You buy a crossover cable, about 15 feet long, connect one end to the xbox 360, and the other end to your network outlet, and BAM! You get connections to live. Does that sound easy? Also the PS3 in the other hand, screw it, I dont want to bother with it.
