I listen to a wide variety, I love to listen to these guys while drawing.

Yeah, I've done everything as well as I could. Keeping track of my layers could have been done in a better fashion. I think I just bit off more than I could chew for my first animation. I had visions of grandeur and a huge animation, but I just don't have enough experience to know the short cuts. I'll learn as I go. Thanks for the encouragement at least. Checked out your animations, awesome stuff!

Thank you Arch-Angel, What you suggested is exactly what I'm trying to avoid, but any help is appreciated. I'm using CS. I'm just starting out and it seems like every idea I have Flash comes up with a way to cock block my creative process. Thank you again

My first animation.

I started out copying comics, so my style took on that. Later I found setting up grids on magazine ads and copying human form helped a lot. After a while my eyes and hand "knew" how things were set up. Then later in HS I started using stick forms for starting my drawings. My best advice is that in the end it's art. there is no wrong or right way, practice, a LOT, and you'll start to develop your own style. Hope this helps and have fun.

Hello all,
I'm starting my first real animation and I've run into a problem. Please forgive me if this was already answered. I'm at a point in my animation where I want a group of symbols to zoom out and I have an arm that I want tweened (moving during the zoom). When I group the symbols Flash sets them to objects and I have to convert them back to symbols, but they fall out of the group, or ungroup. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thank you.
