could be a few days, could be a few weeks (rare). Audio mods have to go through them in their own time, so yeah, be patient.

valid point...now counter argument. LIVE environment. how many synths is it gonna take to play the part your looking for/? Three? possibly?

Good point, very good point, thank you.

Yes a pc negates that. but for only one instrument. It is still a cost cutting exercise. and that the basis. but a 200 quid casio ($500) will cover 2/3s of that performance.

Agreed, it can be costly for 1 or 2 quality laptops, the software you have to buy etc, another good point, thank you.

if you do not get my pioint you haven't and will never do so.

I understand your point clearly now.

you can make a song out of guitar and singer YOU caN EXPAND IT AS WELL.....GEDDIT?

Yet again, I agree with you and it is a very valid statement. I do take guitar lessons as a matter a fact, so I'm not just some crazed electro junkie.

sorry, got caught up in the moment, and yes I have agree on some level.

'cause you must agree kid. if you can't play it live you can't even have a chance????

And yes, I do agree to that on a certain level. I think I know where your getting at with that. You mean if the song was all edited, made, recored, FUCKEDUPEFFECTSHEREANDTHERE, and its near impossible to do it by your self , you dont have a change, yes? Well, I agree with you there to some extent.

good day

yeah as far as I know its aloud, as long as you give credit to your bandmates, and you actually have a part to play in the band. Correct me if I'm wrong someone

Because I check out the audio portal and none of the audio has vocals? Hit me up! Need help lol.

What audio portal are you at? Quite a few songs have vocals here at NG

I hope you nderstabd my secondary point. The forst point still stands.

I understand where your coming from. I thought you were bashing all electronic musicians and what they use. I DO agree with you on some extent though, live performances with live instruments would kick the hell out of a guy using a laptop, even though I haven't been to a performance where the instrument is a laptop, they seem fun, but live performances kick ass, I speak from experience on that part.

If your 'live' sound is based around computers with no live instrumentation how can it be live????? \

when I first heard the idea of electronic musicians I thought it was whack too. But... I always thought a live show was playing music LIVE meaning IN PERSON as in a concert with out the media such as radio, internet etc?

so you have four synths, two vocalists, guitarists, percussionist, a drummer. HOW IS THAT POSSIBILE LIVE??????

with a laptop. I haven't been to a show that uses laptops like electronic musicians, and I bet you haven't either too. Just because they use laptops, doesn't mean a show can't be fun. The whole point of a live show is to have fun not to sit there and pick apart sounds and pick apart equipment, then judge them.

Just accept the major part of the majority you aint gona get there

It's not all about fame, the majority of the people (I'm guessing) make music for the hell of it, for the fun of it. I can't say anything about anyone not making it anywhere, because I don't know anyone or there music.

but enjoy what you do, do not live in a pipe dream, you wanna gig, fuck the PCs off get live instruments in, orchestrate it

We will enjoy doing what we do. Since your dissing PC's, I have to say, half the music industry, including bands who use instruments, wouldn't have as much fame as they do today without computers/internet. You CAN gig with a PC, they do it, it seems fun, and it's not stupid. Since the PC songs are electronic, using effects pedals at gig blows big ones too I guess, thats what you would call "electronic", if you know what I'm getting at.

85% shall we call it for arguments sake. WHO in that share is truly worth a punt on a minor? Fuck the internet sales etc etc etc, who can gig their shit round without a pc or three? oh shit i forgot...pretty much noone can...why? cos you can't afford/don't know the talent to play it.

Terrible world innit. but if you can't play it live, how the fuck you gonna get signed?

are you saying the only way to gig and be of actual worth is to not use computers and instruments?
if not, have a nice day

Quicker and easier solution - fruity sampler, then import from sampler. done. Well of course yer going to have to cut it and stuff but I'll leave that up to you.

try the demo out man, ask questions, alot of people will be happy to help, including myself.

but ya, in Fruity Loops or Renoise, you can slice beats and songs and use just a certain part, add effects, change temp throughout, alot of other neat things.

OK HERE WE GO BOYS

the premade instruments are alright but I wouldn't recommend using them all the time as with the VSTs(or synths as you might know them as). 3xOSC is good to use to create bass lines, so use that often.

For free VST's go to KVR. They have a ton of free VST's, any sound, any instrument, and any genre.

LOOPAMAN for free loops and samples for any genre.

As for tips on how to use, just ask questions on the link he provided and many people will be sure to help.
It's kinda hard to explain how everything works, but if you gander on youtube, you can find some great tutorials for basics.

Hope I helped, and have fun!!!!!

look at the sticky or better yet heres a link CLICK PLZ.

buttttttttttttttt...... I'd go with Fruity Loops or Renoise.
Renoise has my vote though and I think its cheaper than FL.

as for a drum machine and what not, its not really needed. you can just edit some drum samples or what ever. But if your that into creating your own go to hammerhead. Its a drum machine that has a variety of snares, hi hats, toms or whatever and some premade ones,

for free VSTs ( software synths..to make your sound) go to KVR

for loops and samples of any insturment or genre, go to LOOPAMAN

if you need any other things feel free to pm me
