fuck the amen the only good thing about the amen is the snare
do you sign a contract or any document because i know they would probably be able to fuck you over saying that i didnt have rights even though they said otherwise
you don't always half to pay, right, I mean if they give you permission and are OK with it?
i think microsoft soundmapper is the soundcard...
go into audacity -> edit -> preferences and change recording deviceto your soundcard. hit record in audacity and play the video and there you go, clear as a bell.
If you were going to make a remix of a song, sell it on a cd, or play it at clubs, or even play it on myspace you have to pay 'royalty fees' right? Still gotta pay em if you got permission from the artist? Do you still gotta ask/pay if its only a certain part of the song (beat/melody/vocals)?
I was thinking about remixing a few songs and i wanted to know these before i waste my efforts.
renoise - a great tracker, easy to use, etc etc. it cost oney but the demo is fully functional except you cant render to .wav and no asio support.
no problem, im getting the Axiom soon aswell
get the M-Audio Axiom 25(or 49 whatever you want) USB Controller. It's got 25 keys + 8 touch sensitive pads (you can use it with FPC, easier for drum & percussion).
It's about 180$ CDN

I'm not making out that you're an idiot, but you're saying that "FL" is hard because you're more used to work with another software, this is unfair.
yeah thats true, but my the point of the first post i made was that theres more than "FL" out there and people should give him more ideas cause it might be for him.

What is so hard about drag-droping sounds and clicking on them on the step-sequencer??
that's ignorant. because i dont work well with normal step sequencers does not mean you have to make it out to seem that im a huge fucking idiot. i find renoise more flexible for ME, it's more easier for ME, its more suited for ME.
i'm used to trackers and trackers are EASY for me, its that simple.
Seriously people, its not the softwares that are the problem, is your lack of effort.
and is that directed towards me? i have no effort because i don't use fl studio?

Not worth it.
i think hes talking about TUNING his guitar in hopes to emulate the sounds of a genuine bass
don't bother helping him, he quit. he hit a "rough spot" for about 14 minutes and gave up.
life isnt always gonna be smoooth sailing. the whole i quit act was probably to get sympathy/get someone to tell him hes extra gr88888/ get someone to do it for him.

not with the 10 pound chains on each leg and 5 pound earings and 43 pounds of clothing. nude maybe, but then they wouldnt be TRUE goths now would they?

Trackers are annoyingly hard to make good music with, even WITH a good knowledge of how they work.
i thought the same way too, read tutorials, never really got it. you just have to get past the fact that its vertical, which is hard because traditional music is written horizontally, and im traditionally trained. So it was hard, but i find its more capable of doing things breakcore/glitch style than any other sequencer out there. i mean come on..being able to access certain parts of a breakbeat by typing in 09XX, being able to adjust the volume by typing in a number including panning. i mean i know you can all do that with other sequencers, but with trackers its just all laid out for you and its easier to find/do things.
thats just my opinion anyways, im not tryin to bash FL, its a great peice of software.

sure thing
Peach -a very good vst if you are going to be making those classic video game sounds. Peach offers a wide range of tweakable nintendo sounds. Includes over 30 sounds that will send you into a trip of nostalgia.
Toad - need more 8bit style vst's to groooove up your sounds? Toad is for you! Toad offers alot of classic 8bit percussion sounds. Groovy!
TriForce - Triforce will be sure to make your 8bit or anytype of genre songs seem more melodic. With 3 oscillators with square, triangle, and noise including various effects and the ability to make arpeggio's , triforce will leave your ears screaming for more, more, more!
ill post more when i think of some
yMVST - An vital VST if you are going to create some melodic chiptunes. yMVST emulates the sound of the atari st yM2149 soundchip. Excellent for someone wishing to create 8bit/chiptunes.
reViSiT - like the oldschool tracker style programs such as impulse tracker/fast tracker? Can't get them to work on your OS? Or have you already spent $$$$$$$$$ on a step sequencer like FL Studio? Well reViSiT's here to help. Load in this nifty vst and it turns your sequencer into a MANLY vertical tracker!

Just to get this right, do i need all that stuff there, or can i make it with just soft ware like this fruity loops?
you can make pretty much anything with fruity loops, you'd just need some samples or vst's which are easy to come by.
looperman for samples
kvraudio for VST's

to just record your instrument you'd need a computer (obviously) a recording program (audacity, goldwave, etc), a good mic, and an instrument obviously.

i strongly disagree with that..but ok. FL might be good for you and alot of people, but that doesnt make it the #1 EASIEST TO USE DAW OUTTHERE WEEOOWEEEO GO FL. i know drum programming is hella hard in fl studio, but with a tracker like renoise, its much more easier and flexible.
im probably gonna make a new account cause i hate this name and cant be arsed to work under the name "glitchcore". just a heads up

if you have had previous knowledge in buzz, i recommend Renoise. At a cheap 75$, you get a fully compatible Digital Audio Workstation keeping the classic tracker interface(like buzz). It has vst support aswell.
