12 or 24 fps Posted September 12th, 2012 in Animation

I'm working on my first animation, and it's a voice based short. I'm not finding much info on when to use 12 vs 24 fps, but I'm wondering what I should do. I don't want to waste shit tons of time with 24 if it's not really going to matter.

Would a fight scene need more frames though? How would that compare to a talking scene?

I forget this animation! Posted June 13th, 2012 in General

There was an amazing animation some time back, is was amazingly drawn, about 7 mins long, and it was a gory, yet funny movie. I remember a guy with an axe completely destroying people, and we could see the insides of stuff he cut through, like the tiger or whatever, and there was also a sniper with a pointy chin and thin goggles, and I remember he was funny too. I think the animation started with a D, and it was named after the guy who has the axe, but it was weird, and I just cant remember the name!!

Anyone help me out here?

Need an opening piano song Posted June 6th, 2012 in Audio

I'm working on a series of short cartoons and I need an upbeat fast piano piece of clip that lasts about 5 seconds that I can put into the opening frames, the ones where I tell the name of the episode.

Pure piano works best but I really just need something that works, I'm having trouble finding anything in the audio portal

Of course all credit will be given where it's due

Thanks :)

Sorry, I'm not trying to advertise, where can I get feedback on a finished piece?

Can I get some feedback? Posted April 17th, 2012 in Audio

Hi,
I just finished my first non-loop song a couple weeks ago, and havn't gotten any comments or feedback like I hoped, so I though I would try to get some more proactively

If I could get any feedback or ways to improve, I would love that

And also, how do I stop the Yah Synth to not go into a monotone (like in the opening) because when I was editing it, it was not like that

Thanks

By scouted I mean no one has seen my submissions yet, because when you first submit they need to check and see if they're OK with the content being posted, which can apparently take a few weeks

Did my audio upload? Posted March 20th, 2012 in Audio

I'm uploading audio for the first time on this account, when when I pressed upload, it said "error, could not find your project." Then, I tried to re-upload and it said "You already have an audio file by this name." Did it upload? (I havnt been scouted yet so it wouldnt show)
