I am the programmer of all of the Demonic Defence games. What ohskooby says is true. He did the graphics and ideas for the first game under the name ohcrapy.

I then teamed with Antitudegames (who did graphics and animation, as well as ideas) for Demonic Defence 2, 3 and 4. We are done with these games, as we believe that there is nothing left to add, plus we are tired of making them and have moved on to different projects.

I'm just clearing these items up. Good luck on your game ohskooby!

Using the + operator to add strings, and variables:

number = 3; // set the variable number to 3

textString = "Hello "; //set another variable to "Hello "

stringNumber = textString + number; //stringNumber now equals Hello 3

You may also add string and variabes (without making the string a variable). For example, to get the same value as the stringNumber above, we can do this:

stringNumber = "Hello " + number; //this will also equal Hello 3

It depends on the frame rate, quality, and your skill level.

High school is really awful. College is waaay better...by A LOT.

Please let me explain what went down. It's nothing personal to ohcrapy, but because his graphics/animation skills could use massive improvements, I decided to switch animators (or artists).

I did code the Demonic Defense engines from scratch, so shouldn
't I be able to make them with whatever artist/animator I choose?

Big thanks to all the fans of the series, and again, I'm sorry about not telling you before ohcrapy (I'm really bad at telling people their faults).

My favorites are Chronamut and ParagonX9.

Oh yeah, and be sure to play the other game modes other then just classic (which is the clicking one). There is drag and drop (which is my favorite) and hold (hold the mouse button down on an enemy to kill them).

I'll also up the archer and gunner limit, since people really like that upgrade when I fix the bugs and everything. I'm unsure how long it will take to get the upgraded version on newgrounds, since ng has this new system about checking all updated .swfs after 5000 views.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I will try to fix the bugs as soon as the other co-author comes online (he has the most recent .fla). I'm glad so many people like it!

Woah, I didn't even know that this topic was still going on. Sounds like you guys are serious about making it. I hope it does not take you guys as long as it took me... it shouldn't, since you seem to have a good team. Hope it turns out well.

The only thing i could think of:
Make a little game that will pass the portal ratings, and pack one part of the game into it.
Then publish your final game and use loadmovie to include the other part which is hidden in the minigame :)

Nah, you weren't harsh. I know that the graphics lack (which is why I teamed up with an artist recently). That's an interesting idea though. I've recently actually given up trying to get it on NG, but maybe I'll try what you've suggested. Thanks for the idea and I'm glad you liked the game.

The audio actually only takes up 1 meg of the 8.33 meg size. I did make a 7.5 meg version of the game, but it has many features taken out. It's pretty impossible to get it to 5 megs or under. By the way, it took a whole year to make (I'm not joking) with THOSE graphics...you can imagine how long it would take to make with very great graphics...

It's called Solid RPG. People seem to love the battle system and all the features. I emailed Tom about putting it on newgrounds, but he never returned my email (guess he's too busy or something). Ah well, have fun with it if you try it, and please join the forums.

Music helps me make flash. I just have some good tunes playing, and then I can animate and code for a while without getting bored. Being in the right mood helps too.

Diablo 2 is a very good RPG. It's one of the few free online mass multiplayer games... I've played it on and off since it came out.

It's pretty good, but there is a glitch with the fireball.

When you do the fireball, then turn the opposite direction to do another fireball (while the other fireball is still on screen), the first fireball will change directions.

My favorite is tennis.

Quentin Tarantino is hilarious in interviews. He's so animated (moves his arms and hands around A LOT) when he talks, it's so damn funny. As for his films, Pulp Fiction was great...his others...not so great...
