Personally being in the military I get a first hand look on how the U.S. trains and have read a plenty about how basically this country is damn parinoid about anything hitting it. This country will flip shit if a small cessna plane doesn't check in. So it comes as a shock that people think in a conventional war their country can beat essentially the strongest military force in the world.

So in this fun series I'm going to try to cover pretty much every fun loving nation out there who thinks the US is the devil and pit them together in a battle with one another. It's going to be very detailed including home turf battle's. I'm going to ignore the politics and how the unlikly situation may happen. Just pure and simple war stats people. Also, no nukes.

The United States of America Stats
Military includes:
US Army
US Navy
US Air Force
US Marine Corps
US Coast Guard

People, this military is massive. With over $711 billion a year in funding they have it all.
Over 1,454,515 active duty and 848,000 reserve units. This country, in terms of manpower, is the second largest military power in the world.

There are 280 ships in the Navy and over 3,700 aircrafts in the Navy as well. This country dominates in high tech naval eqipment and power. Including one of the most elite fighting forces known at the Navy SEALs.

The US also has vast air superiority with the dawning of the F-22 Raptor which is a beast. They have 135 of these planes and the airforce having a total of 2,402 fighter planes.

Tanks? You want tanks? Oh baby does this country have tanks. They have over 9,000 M1Abrams in service most of which have been beast's in current wartime. These baby's are hard to kill and kill hard. They have also been surprisingly reseliant against roadside bombs in Iraq.

Coupled with hard training and a rigirous military who is constantly evolving and you have the deadliest force in the known world.

AND the US barely uses a quarter of its forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Use the above stats as further refrence to any fictional battle I put up.

FIRST BATTLE: The US vs. CANADA

US pros:
-Better military
-Close proximity to the country
US cons:
-Have to withstand cold temperatures
-Close proximity to Canada is also a con
-Shared information with the country via
NORAD could cause some serious problems

Canada Stats
Canada has a combined force known Canadian Forces which consist of pretty much everything you want in a military. MARCOM, LFC, and AIRCOM all rolled into a nice strategic package. However, with this strategic and cost efficiant command it seemed to come at a price of shear numbers.

Canada has only 65, 251 active duty military in its command and only 34,678 Reserve Forces including the Canadian Rangers. This doesn't even scratch the surface of US military might. Their Navy has a sad 36 ships and submarines.

Their Air Force here is small and they have pretty much a stock list of everything they have on Wikipedia.

While Canada has an advantage of extreme cold temperatures in the Winter. The fact that their capital is so close to US boarders doesn't help them. In terms of an all out war my prediction is that it would take a month, maybe less, before the US can take control of the capital. The entire country is problimatic, but the military would be wiped out in no time flat.

Join me next time when the United States takes on Israel!

Well yes but at the same time you are talking about a country that has as many people as california alone. This is hardly fair to actully compair due to the lack of population. But if we look at other countries in the world then we can compair US fairly also another thing that plays a part is the willness to survive and how everything is excuted. We are a tier 1 and 2 nation but when some other country want to survive -take the baulkin wars- then they use other types of strategy. If you read armed forces lesson of modern warfare then you will see our weapons don't do good against close combat. And if they line up and just keep coming pretty soon we have to run out of ammo. and finally I want to bring to the table that at anytime we could have more than one country and it will spread our troops thin due to the face the last time we went to war against more then one country was WWII.
