I've got a test the day after tomorrow, and temperatures overnight may reach 2°C which won't help at all.
So far I'm drinking lukewarm to hot water; if I had any vitamin C tablets, I'd be taking them but I don't have them, so I won't.
Is there anything else I can do to prevent, or at the very least, reduce the duration of my upcoming cold/sickness/whatever? If I sound like a pussy, it's probably because I am but I don't like being sick.

You'd eat 10 pounds of it and diarrhea 9 pounds of it

Give him this link. Water's pretty good at blocking radiation, and it's the Pacific Ocean that has radiation in it. Except it probably wouldn't harm people due to 1) the concentration and 2) they're not going to be right near it.
This one comes from Shane Vendrell in The Shield. It's a truly sick joke as mentioned by Vic Mackey (Michael Chiklis): (I'm paraphrasing)
"Three explorers are in a forest when they're captured by a tribe. The chief of the tribe gives them a punishment for finding out their settlement / (some other offence) and are given a choice as to what punishment they receive. They can either choose death, or 'chi-chi'.
The first explorer chooses 'chi-chi'. The people in the tribe drag him, rape him and then cut off his balls. He is then let go. The second explorer, visibly frightened and nervous, but at the same time didn't want to die; he also chooses 'chi-chi'. They drag him, rape him as well and cut off his balls, and let him go.
The chieftain then asks the third explorer. He'd rather face death than go through what the first and second explorers went through; he chose 'death'. The chieftain smiles, and then says to him and his people, 'death it is...by chi-chi'"
Snopes, Wikipedia, The Straight Dope, etcetera etcetera. They're all good sources of information. Facebook is not one of them.

There are a myriad of other ways to help a person overcome their problems without resorting to drugs. All of the people I've worked with have thanked me for it, as I've worked to get people off of those kind of drugs and into being able to live their lives without the need for them, but without their illnesses either. Drugs would be a last resort at best.

Really depends on the severity of it. High depression that can lead to suicide requires meds. OP's doesn't probably.
Yes I've heard that antidepressants may not work for every patient and that it may take multiple tests to see which one works; but if a person's taking them and they're stopping them from committing suicide/whatever due to their depression, then that helps. It's not at all a permanent solution, but a temporary one. And addressing the root cause usually should work, unless I'm thinking of an extremely simplified version of depression. It's not inherently bad to take drugs, though. Taking only them is bad, yes, but to use an (rather poor) analogy, it's like how HIV may be treated: multiple drugs; here, it might most likely be multiple methods of treatment (i.e. drugs + therapy, etc.)
You mentioned that you've helped people get off those drugs; but in the meantime, they didn't do much harm, or did they?

Well that's a slippery slope thing. More popularity -> less ads required (most of the times unless owners are greedy); less popularity -> more ads to stay afloat; more people using adblock -> more ads to stay afloat, but screws nonAB users in the process.
And we brought it upon ourselves.

1) Daily Mail

3) DAILY. MAIL.

Well what'd you expect of a site that was funded and advertised (probably aggressively) by a corporation? Not get more views than NG?
I've had chow mein noodles before, and I'm probably mentioning the obvious / what should not be said, but I've also had my fair share of ramen too. (And no, fortune cookies don't count as Chinese)
Although I have my head so high up my ass I can't really tell whether I've had any real Chinese food or I've been eating fakes so far.
2014 or (insert current year), you guys. Sure, the chat went down, but the BBS (general at least) is more active and so much cool stuff is happening right now! And will continue to!
Depends really. If children who haven't hit puberty are having sex, it'd be disturbing, but it wouldn't pose many risks (except for STDs) because there'd be little to no chance of getting pregnant (little because I heard a story of a 5 year old getting pregnant).
Oh and sex would be much less precious than it was, ofc.
Between people who have hit puberty...they stand a high chance of getting pregnant, and on the occasion that they do, they won't realize how big an issue it is.

It's pretty old and overused circa 2003. Also I was banned by FBIpolux for mentioning that in chat at pico day.
Start by going into a shallow pool and kicking the water with your feet while holding onto a wall. Practice until you have a consistent kick-stroke, and not random flailing around. Get a floating board, or some floating equipment, and paddle with your arms and hands. Lie in the middle of the pool and move your hands down and to your sides, pull back up slowly (with hands angled sideways/palm facing stomach) and repeat. Kick with your feet.
Otherwise, hire an instructor who will teach you how to actually swim. IDK.
