I think we have a misunderstanding. When you say 'traced', I think of taking the original, putting a new sheet of paper (or layer, if you're into digital) on top of it, and draw the lines over the originals. I don't think he did that.
I think he did however look at the original, and copied it by looking at it.

Oh... I'm sorry for that. But never the less i think it has no value because he didint have to do anything creative at the process.

Heres something that i drew in class! :) We should have made 3pages of notes but instead i used the whole class to draw this. My teatcher said at the end of the class: "What a nice litle picture you have drawn."
