Yes, NG was about 2 days after the shootings. I get the Star Trib (more lib than Pioneer Press), and they had briefly mentioned Weise's flash movies on NG, as well as his live journal entries.

Not too recent. They had mentioned NG again a week or so ago, after the police had arrested Weise's accomplice. It was again just a little tidbit, nothing too attention-grabbing.

Yea, but usually the media is hesitant to cut slack to a website that encourages true artistry and free speech. I'll bet none of them frequent this site to see the good-natured and hearty flashes that get submitted here very day. The only time they come here is when there is a new "outrage", and that's what pisses me off most. If you're going to condemn a site, or even cast it in a negative light, at least expose yourself to all parts of the NG spectrum first.

I think the only help you need to participate on these forums is to read through the rules and lurk here for awhile. If you can't figure that out, well..... being a n00b only lasts so long.
