Actually the Bill of Rights states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." There's no requirement that those in government put aside their religion

I dissaprove of gay marraige simply because I am a christian, but let me make a few points:

1. Not all people belong to a religion that suports the christianic bible

2. The constitution says that the innailiable (I don't know how to spell that) rights are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If we deprive anyone of marraige, we are preventing the pursuit of happiness.

3. The constitution also states that religion and government can't mix.

Oh, and for future refrence: As long as people are different there will be conflicts, and as long as there are conflicts there will be violence, and as long as people experience violence, those people will want to inccorperate it to another thing entirely to make things more bearable.

And just to make a point, I'm 14, top of my class, go to church regularly, have been labled as a possible genius, have never done something illegal, and I happen to be a huge fan of GTA.
