Chances are, your only going to say that to someone who is close to you or has a serious illness.

It's just common sense to encourage them in this time of suffering in thier lives.

It sounds a lot better then saying,
"Well hey, you've had a good run!"

Well one could assume that much just through logic.

With most systems constantly gettign updates and games are just improving as is, our current 8th Gen systems probably have a long time to go before they even start series discussions about "New Systems."

Yeeeesh. I know I would not want to buy a new system right now.

(Except maybe the Nintendo 3DS, but whatever.)

Video Game Crossovers Posted December 5th, 2010 in Video Games

Personally, I think Video Games Crossovers (especially 3rd party) are the SHIT.

Everytime I hear about one happening, even If I only have a clue about what both games are about, it excites me.

Games like Kingdom Hearts, Marvel vs Capcom, Super Smash Brothers (cliche, I know), DC Universe vs Mortal Kombat, etc.

Something about mixing of two different things and seeing how it mixes is just fucking cool in my opinion.

And recently I found out that one of my favorite games, Phoenix Wright, is getting a 3rd part crossover game with PROFESSOR LAYTON DS SERIES!?! OH MY SHIT. YES!!! AND They are getting voice actors!!! WHOA.

If anyone knows of any secret upcoming crossovers, (even if they are rare), I would love to hear them.

Also, from interviews, it seems like they have a fixation on making sure the characters fit with the comic book style of the game. This is fine, but adding in fan favorites (as well as a few niche oddballs) is what Marvel is supposed to be about, so forgetting about characters like Phoenix Wright is really disappointing.

Actually, they were going to add Phoenix Wright as a charcter... however he only had one move that was a giant speech bubble that screamed "OBJECTION!" and covered the whole screen. And it was impossible to block so it made Nick unfair. So instead of fixing him they just pretty much scrapped him.

:( Bastards.

Response to: "Hard mode" is becoming stupid Posted December 5th, 2010 in Video Games

That is true with a lot fo games.

However some games, as previously stated, like Uncharted 2, your tactical choices need to be thought out before acting. One second in fire, and it's game over. Especially "Insane" Mode. This is truly an challenge worth experiencing. I beat this game 5 times.

Black Ops seems to be a topic of discussion so I'll talk about that too. As for Black Ops, It was really interesting how they set the AI up. As far as I can tell in previous CoD titles and MW, Veteren Mode was simply an act of killing all the opponents until they were all dead and then proceeding. In Black Ops, this is not the case. The enemies continuously spawn and keep coming at all times. If your standing in one space and attempt to mow them down, you'll be there for all eternity. I learned this after standing on one set of cover for 20 minutess with no progress. The only way to win and proceed is to gain position on the enemy. Thus making the game twice as hard. This made the game an exciting challenge as well.

So really, when it all comes down to it, bad difficulty settings are just becuase the game is made bad. Games like Uncharted 2 and Black Ops are very well made.

Chances are if the game is made bad, the difficulty settigns will be retarded as well.

Response to: If you had super powers...? Posted November 1st, 2010 in General

Would you be good or evil?

Anti-Hero

If good would you still kill villains?

Depending on what they did.

If bad what would you use your powers for, money, power, or just to kill people you don't like?

I would use my powers a recreation, using only for justice when needed.

Would you let people know who you were?

Sure, then let the Govenrment, Media, and others come and get me. Sounds fun.

Would you wear any sort of costume?

And army jacket, with a hood.

What would your name be? Would you even have an alter-ego name?

QuickShift :D

And lastly how would you handle the popularity? Would you use it to get money? Would you use it to get bitches?

lawl.

Just a few questions to answer. Have fun.

YouTube Idea Help Posted November 1st, 2010 in General

I've been thinking lately about an idea that needs help taking off.

I recently discovered and played the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series and loved it, And I can see why people can get stumped at it sometimes. At the same time I've really been wanting to try my hand at voice acting.

So I'm thinking of starting a Walkthrough/Voice Acting Phoenix Wright Series on Youtube, where I show people how to beat the game and at the same time, add some actual dialogue to the text with the help of me and some friends.

The only problem is i have no Idea how to get the actual game in video form. The only possible way I could think of doing that would be video taping my DS (Which is NOT what I want to do).

Any thoughts of how I could accomplish this? Or comments if this a good idea/ bad idea?

Personally, I agree that suicide is for the weak. Life in itself is a trial, and if just give up and quit without a fight, well, in most cases you just a weak coward. If you having serious trouble, there are probably hundreds of people in your own area that would listen to you problems, for FREE. Suicide is never the option.

However, I also agree that kids who have trouble getting friends (or have no friends at all) can become depressed to point where they would consider it. Or feel bullied and alone to the point where they might do something even more drastic. (Cough, Columbine, Cough).

This by no means justifies his actions. All I'm saying is watch out.

Now you know if someone is in need of a friend, try to be one, or point him in a direction where he can find some. Don't just blow the kid off next time.

As you have witnessed sadly :( It can have terrible effects.
