Yeah, I think the wording is a little confusing; I didn't write the ad. It says "flash web developer" but that actually only refers to building websites and stuff. They just wanted to weed out people who were just Flash website builders or solely 3D animators and not Flash animators. If you animate in Flash then you're ok!

In case you hate reading, I'll mention a few important things really fast: This is a full time job. You have to be able to relocate to Hollywood. Although the job posting says no 3D animators, what it really means is, you need to have experience with Flash and not just 3D stuff. We're not looking to train anyone; we're looking to squeeze out your juicy Flash skills into a 90% pulp-free cartoon. I'm one of the few animators on the show, and it ain't half bad!

Hey cool! Glad to hear that thing is still alive. I saw a preview for it, what, like two years ago? Maybe it wasn't that long, but it was some invitation only AIM chatroom I believe. Someone invited me and I got to play a very early build. Even in a premature state, it was looking snazzy! Ed's art is always impressive. Creepy, but impressive!

For some reason, I keep leevling up, to the same level. A couple months ago I got to Level 16, but now, every few times I deposit, it says "Thank you for your deposit, gel! You now have 8,260 experience points. You need 2 more to get to level 16." I get to level 17 and a few days later, I'm back to level 16. I just want my nunchucks. Is NG shifting the level requirements around, because I didn't pay attention to the EXP before... we'll see what happens in a few days.

As Tom has said, isn't submitting content to NG about sharing your work with potentially millions of people, rather than submitting for the sole purpose of getting money?

Sky Boarder wasn't bad. The presentation was a bit lacking, and pressing A never seemed to pull off a dash (no matter how much I had in my super meter, even 1/4th), but it felt like a pretty solid game.

My friend plays the lead guitar in a German band and they are currently up for a TV spot and big concert performance, but only if they win this online poll that's been going on for months now. It ends Dec. 31, and I think NG can help Sunbomb win! If they get this chance to be on TV and perform in a big concert, I think they'll go far!

For anyone who thinks AH is gonna somehow compete with Halo2 or GTA: San Andreas or Metroid Prime 2, you're right! However, it's also highly known to market analysts that a game that sells poorly during the Christmas season is still likely to sell more copies than a good game released in March. It's the holiday shopping season already (yes, already) and it doesn't matter than big games are out there, this season is THE season to release games!

Heh heh, actually, I don't care. Do realize that yes, the fanboys can be over-protective and you will likely get a few undue headaches, but it's just a name. What you do with your name is what gives you the right to have a name at all!

If I may suggest something, I think you can change your name and not have to change your character. I am gel, but one of my characters is Wink. I am not Wink. You can have your own name and leave "gel" for your character. If the name gel is new to you, you might as well be as unique as you can. If you've already been using the name for years, I see no reason to change it.

I'd like to say that a newer version of NG VS will be up soon. T0MMY was uploading the new version with the correct font, but it just barely missed the 5000 view cut off (a horrible solution to a barely existent problem). Under the current rules, the new version is being reviewed by the NG staff and should be up soon.

Of course I wouldn't stick in a font that is hard to read, I've been doing comic book lettering for the past 10 years!

Although the animation is a bit lacking, I love Salad Fingers. And I love NewGrounds.
