Kick ass!

Thanks guys. The Rotting Onslaught engine will be used to power bigger and better games in future. Rotting Onslaught is a Survival Horror/Real Time Strategy, so it doesn't support unit building and stats management, but future games will do!

Peace,

Awesome!

I bought it on Xbox - it's a fantastic game, and 2d gaming should be supported!

I'm 24. Toughest period of my life was 15-17 - too much going on in my head. It gets easier as you get older- you cope better and get stronger.

Plus the acne clears up. ;)

I like. I like alot. Very innovative. Sounds like he's using an octave divider thats somehow set to make the notes an octave higher instead of lower.

Onstage he had 2 amps. He was playing what looked like a Rickenbacker 4000 series, maybe a 4001. He played with a pick I think. The amps are apparently custom made by his uncle. I couldn't see the floor of the stage so I couldn't peep his effects, but I'd say that you're right, there may be some sort of harmoniser.

What about a hosts file? You'll see less adverts, and evil sites (like spam traps) will be blocked automatically:

Make sure to update it often!

Don't kill anybody. Just walk away. If you're thinking of hurting somebody, you clearly need help. Imagine what hurting him would do to his family. Whatever he has done to you - there is always another, BETTER way to behave. Be the bigger man - if he's such an asshole, show him up as such by being a better person. It'll be like salt in his wounds if he finds out he can't phase you.

You know what stress is? It's our response to a given situation. You can handle anything - just CHOOSE to handle it well

Hope this helps. If not, well, just back up and chill and think a minute.

I play bass

All you bass players: go check out:

http://www.deathfromabove1979.ca/

I believe this band to be as important as the Beatles - they are a 2-piece band - just drum and bass. Sounds thin? Go check 'em out - they sound like a building collapsing! I went to see them last night at Cardiff Barfly and they were absolutely immense - even better than Mr Bungle in 2000!

I call "bollocks" on this one

They are indeed remaking the first Evil Dead, and Bruce Campbell is a producer. Bruce says he doesn't want to put his body through the torture of another ED movie, so he won't be in a fourth one as far as I know.

I was playing a maze game on a BBC micro about 20 years ago (yes, I'm very, very old) and got spooked by some of the speech. I quickly turned the computer off - BUT THE SPEECH KEPT GOING! I frantically ripped the plugs out of the walls until it stopped...

Turns out I had turned off the monitor and not the computer. Well, I was only 4!

Topic: Chavs

Posted: 02/01/05 05:29 PM

Forum: General

Chavs are the burgeoning peasant underclass of the United Kingdom. Also known as Kevs, Neds, Charvers and ratboys, they:

* are generally not very well off
* live in council houses
* date girls with scraped back hair and earrings you could ride a motorbike through
* are unemployed or in school
* hang around street corners looking threatening

Given my taste for outlandish clothes, I frequently get hassled by groups of Chavs, and have even been punched in the face by one.

They're horrible, unpleasant, unsightly, and antisocial. BUT THEY'RE STILL HUMAN BEINGS. They just need something positive in their lives.

Hmm...

Women are quite frankly petrifying. If I see one coming, I generally turn around and sprint in the opposite direction.

If a woman gets close enough to speak to you, simply talk about squirrels and Slayer until she gets bemused and backs away. You should pepper your conversation with relentless nervous laughter for maximum effect.

I realise that I'm in a minority here, but I vastly preferred Tekken 4 to any of its predecessors. It was more of a "3d" game, closer to Virtual Fighter.

Apparently T5 sees a return to the T3 move system (i.e. up to jump) - this gets a "boo" from me but a "yay" from most other people.

I don't hate MJ, although I do worry about him. I love his music, it's been there all my life. I got into beatboxing by ripping off his stuff and I learned to love dancing from Jacko.
