Chapter 2: The journey begins

Gorbax was starteled, put step back and tumbled down the stairs.
Xerion laughed and helped Gorbax on his feet.
"Come on, I'm not so scary, go get your things and say goodbye to your family.
"But sir," stammered Gorbax, "I have not seen my family in years and I do not own any stuff. These clothes are from the landlord and this is my only pair.
"Okay," said Xerion. "There are two things you should know about me."
Firstly, I am not call me sir but just Xerion.
And secondly, money plays no part with me so I just buy new stuff for you.
Thank you sir, sorry I mean Xerion. "Nobody has never been so nice to me," said Gorbax on his knees. "Now then, stand up and walk along but then we buy new stuff for you" said Xerion leaving the astonished audience behind them.

Later, when they walked through the shopping centre Xerion walked into an expensive clothing store. Gorbax said in terror against the sorcerer, "but Mr. Gnomes can not go in there"."What did I say," said Xerion. I am not sir, and if they want you to stop I just change them into a frog. Then they walked in the store. The salesman looked conceited to Gorbax and said slowly against Xerion: 'You should not take your pet with you milord. Xerion became angry and it seemed like he caught fire. He said seething against the seller: "If you offend my companion or try to remove him. i will send a swarm of moths to eat all the clothes in your store. "Sorry sir I will not stand in the way," said the salesman with a squeaky voice.

'Lord (ahem) I mean Xerion is this good? "Said Gorbax quickly because he felt pity with the seller. Xerion turned. Yes that is good a very good choice. Gorbax looked at what he had pulled out of the closet. It was a brown leather shirt with a solid jet black pants. "You'll get a free pair of boots with that." Said the salesman smoothly. And he took an expensive pair of hard leather boots behind the counter. After he had put it in the dressing room, he is surprised to find that perfect fit. "It fits like a glove," he said happily. Well come on then, we must also go to the blacksmith before we leave. The seller was relieved as they walked out of the store.

They walked down the street until they came upon an old forge. Xerion knocked on the door and a small man (almost as small as Gorbax) with a long beard opened the door. He had a leather jacket and he had a large hammer in his hand. Xerion greeted him enthusiastically. "Dorin old friend how are you" he said with a smile. The man said it went well and looked with amazement at Gorbax. "And Xerion who have dragged along this time" he said. He suddenly looked very guilty and mumbled quickly, "where are my manners do come inside." She walked in and went around the table. Gorbax was surprised when he sat down because he fit in the chair.
Xerion laughed and said, "Dorin, you don't have to apologize." And to answer your question: this is Gorbax he's a gnome. "It's an honor to meet you Gorbax" said Dorin and he bowed. I am Dorin Mountainhammer and the reason we have almost the same size is because I am a dwarf. Gorbax thought, 'how does he know that?
If you're wondering how I knew you'd say that, since it was my first reaction when I first saw a gnome.

"But enough chit chatter you are here for business," he said as he stood up. "Yes that's right," said Xerion. We are looking for a suitable weapon for my friend here. Then you're in luck, I happen to have some dwarf weapons and armor here somewhere. Dorin disappeared into the back room. You heard iron falling and the dwarf came back cursing with a bump on his head. "oh the stuff i would do for that old goat," he said, and laid a nicely decorated half sword, a small chain mail and a small round shield down.
"what we have here...." Dorin said with a proud smile. A beautiful light half sword of elven language called waeda, that means fast water in the elven language. He must be just long enough for you.
And second, I have for you a mithril chainmail. This is an honor only dwarfs are supposed to wear mithril, because we are the only people that can make metal mithril. And third, I have a small human riding shied for you, it is plated with iron and there is a beautiful prancing horse. And he gave the stuff Gorbax.
"Oh almost forgot," he exclaimed, and pulled out a black leather strap system. put it on like this (the dwarf showed how to put o the belt to Gorbax) then you can keep your shield on your back and your sword scabbard can hang on your belt. Gorbax looked surprised at the sheath. It was beautiful and studded with gold.

"Thanks," said Xerion. How much you want for it? "you can pay on another time my old friend" the dwarf said laughing. Have fun with it. They said goodbye and Xerion and Gorbax went to the stable next door. They bought a horse and a pony and went out of the city. When they were on the hill in front of the city gorbax looked behind in awe. The city was like a picture at the foot of the hill. In the middle of the city you could see the castle even tall over the city guard and there was a light in the keep. Gorbax imagined himself grinning that that annoying Jannes was crying on his bed right now, and now wondered how that irritating lackey was listening to the departure of Gorbax. He did not think that at that time it was really happening. Suddenly he got startled from his thoughts because Xerion started talking.
Xerion said, "Well then, shall we go on the journey of a lifetime?"

Chapter 1: The Unexpected Hero

Before we begin this tale, it would be useful to explain what a gnome actually is. Gnomes are small (a meter high on average) with chunky potato noses. They tend to be rather fat, they but are quite sharply-witted. This story is about one very special gnome, named Gorbax. At eighty centimeters, Gorbax is small even for a gnome. He works as the help for the rich country gentleman of Belingas, which is where this tale begins. And without further ado, this tale shall begin. Quite simply. On a beautiful morning.

It was a beautiful morning as Gorbax wiped the floor of the young gentleman, Jannes, when the lackey ran in screaming, "Gorbax, you small pest, hurry up and drag that fat butt of yours to the living room. The master is seeking you."

"Alright, alright, Beanstake," whispered Gorbax.

"What did you s-" But Gorbax was already gone by the time the lackey managed to finish his sentence.

You see, gnomes are seen as second-class citizens and may take revenge on any man they despise to their heart's content.

Still puffing, Gorbax stood before the door to the living room. He opened the door and his hands became all sweaty. There had never been a gnome in the living room before. And there was the master, looking over the land from a large bay window. He turned himself to Gorbax and said, "Gomjax was it really-"

"Actually, yes m'lord," Gorbax interrupted.

"Yes, probably. I want you to accompany Jannes to the castle's large square. The court wizard is in my city today and I have great expectations for my son. You surely know that the court wizard of the king is seeking a hero of some prophecy or another." The details of this prophecy will be revisited at a later time. "Thus you, Gobbels-" Gorbax attempt to interrupt at this point with a "But, Sir, I" but the master plowed on, "-may have the honor to carry the stuff of my beloved son, Jannes. Well, what are you waiting for, Gojas? He is waiting by the front door with his gear. Hurry."

Gorbax walked as fast as he could (while bowing) to the door. At the door stood a thin and arrogant-looking young boy around the age of sixteen. He looked disgusted at Gorbax. Gorbax mumbeled, "Yes, that is Jannes, no doubt about it."

"Come here and get my cases you lazy mongrel."

Gorbax looked at the piled up heap of stuff, sighing. And this is to be our rescuer, thought our little friend as he dragged the cases behind Jannes. Quite a comical sight the two must have made. A thin and spoiled young boy with a small, fat, and dirty little guy, carrying a case two times as large as himself, trying to keep up. After fifteen minutes of walking, they finally arrived on the crammed square. And in that moment, a blasting voice sounded over the square. Gorbax looked amazed at the speaker, who turned out to be an old man with a beard, a big pointed hat, and a beautifully detailed wooden staff in his hand. Just then, Jannes kicked the poor Gorbax's knee. He screamed in surprise and pain. '

"Are you just going to sit and whine here or bring my things to the stage?" Gorbax nodded with tears in his eyes and began to drag the heavy cases again. As he tried to lift the cases onto the stage, he heard a voice behind him.

"That old magic is surprising as ever, still above my reach." He heard the crowd hold its breath and he turned around as fast as he could. He was looking straight into the face of the speaker on the stage. "I, Courwizard Xerion the Fifth, declare this inhabitant to be the hero of the prophecies of Balancar."

Well, okay, but it's still slightly unreadable.

No real critique can be formed when there are sentences like "Before we begin tell is I firstly what actual a gnome" and "that tell I later on well more of".

You should separate the paragraphs by pressing Enter twice, as well as following that advice of getting someone else to translate it. What language is the original in?

okay thank you and the original language is dutch.
i shall pay more attention in the future

well thanx, but i fixed a lot of grammar already. so its not purely translated.

Chapter 1 the unexpected hero

Before we begin tell is I firstly what actual a gnome. It is be a small (on average at least one whole meter) with a chunky potato nose. They take a subtile touch to fatness, they but well quite sharp. This story goes over a whole special gnome, named Gorbax. Gorbax is even for a gnome small, to be exact 80 centimeters. He works as house help at the rich country gentleman of Belingas, where this tell also begins. I want to bore you now not longer with details and begin with the story as is the custom.

It was a beautiful morning and Gorbax twas whiping the floor of young gentleman Jannes. When the lackey ran in screaming. Gorbax, you small pest hurry up and dragg that fat butt of you to the living room the master is seeking you. 'allright allright beanstake' whispered Gorbax. 'What did you say?!?', before the lackey managed to finish the scentace Gorbax was already gone. For gnomes are seen as second-class citizens and may punish each man they to one's heart's content. still puffing stood he for the door of the living room. He opened the door and his hands became all sweaty. There had never been a gnoom in the living room. in there was the master, looking over the land. He turned himself to Gorbax and began to talk. Gomjax was it really (now yes actual milord..), yes probably. I want that you with Jannes accompany to the large square of the castle. Thus you Gobbels (but sir I..) may have the honor to carry the stuff of my beloved son, jannes. Thus where are you waiting for Gojas, he is waiting by the front door with his gear, hurry. And Gorbax walked fast as he could(while he was trying to bow) to the door. When he arrived at the door stood there a thin and arrogantly looking young boy around the age of sixteen. He looked disgusted to Gorbax. Gorbax mumbeled: 'Yes that is Jannes no doubt about it'. Come here and get my cases you lazy mongrell. Gorbax looked at the piled up heap of stuff sighing. 'And thÃ-s must become our rescuer' thought our litte friend as he meanwhile dragged the cases behind Jannes . It must be been a comical view to see those two.
