I know just how you feel, man. I was unfortunate enough to try a hairstyle of one of the chars I created. Not only did I fail, but I looked like a moron with a bad hairdo.

(I don't know where else to put it. Many unfinished stories that I'm writing about one of the chars I made up. I just gotta warn you that it's based in the Zelda universe and that it will result as a backstory for another one of my chars. I just thought I should warn you beforehand. So enjoy!
NOTE: I made it as a first-person narriative. So if you get confused, then it's your own damn fault!)

“So, this is it.” My voice contained worry and concern.
“Right.” Link placed the three stones onto the pedestal. “This might take a while so, you might want to come back in a few years.”
“I have a feeling it won’t take that long.”
“How do you know that?” Malon asked, puzzled.
“It’s a secret.” I said and winked. I nodded to Link and he nodded back. He pulled the sword from the pedestal and was surrounded by a pillar of light. This is it I thought. No turning back now. The light pillar dissipated and Link sheathed the Master Sword and walked toward us.
“Excellent work, Hero of Time!” Ganondorf’s voice boomed into our ears. “This time will not be the same as the last. I shall win and you shall be defeated!” We were instantly transported to a large room with an organ in a corner. Beside the organ, there was Zelda, encased in a crystal. She had both surprise and relief in her eyes. The Triforce symbol appeared once again on my hand and I knew that this’ll determine the fate of Hyrule. There was also a man playing the organ. He suddenly stopped. “So, you’ve finally arrived. Once again, I have the pleasure to fight the Hero of Time.” He stood up and turned to face us. “But this time, I shall be the victor of this battle!”
“That’s what you think!” Link yelled. That remark sounded rather cocky to me.
“Let’s see how you fare against my army!” Moblins, Wizzrobes, Poes, and some Stalfos appeared and started to attack.
“I’ll take the Moblins and the Wizzrobes!” I said.
“I’ve got the Stalfos!” Link said as he drew his sword.
“That leaves me with the Poes!” Malon said, staff ready.
“Let’s go!!!!” I charged at a group of Moblins and slashed their heads off. Then I was surrounded by Wizzribes and they were ready to blast me with their evil magic waves. I knew that the magic waves were coming straight for me, so I jumped out of the way at the last minute which made the waves hit the Wizzrobes that were at the opposite side of the ones that shot the waves. I landed right on the same spot where I was and parried another Moblin’s attack. That’s when I saw that Malon was being overwhelmed by a group of Poes that chased her into a corner. I readied an arrow when I saw a lightning bolt strike the Poes, which killed them (Again, since they’re ghosts). My attention was brought back to the Moblin when it slashed my arm. That’s when I shot the arrow right between it’s eyes. Two other Moblins charged at me but an energy beam vaporized them.
“Starting the party without me? That wasn’t very nice. You should’ve waited.”
“Goten! I was beginning to think you weren’t gonna show!”
“I’m here now and that’s all that matters!” A Wizzrobe appeared too close than it should’ve and I jump-kicked it. Then, a Staflos charged at me, but Link thrusted his sword into it’s back.
“You back-stabber!!” I exclaimed with a laugh. I jumped to dodge an oncoming Moblin and delivered a fierce punch to it’s ribs. That’s when Ganondorf pointed toward me and I was lifted by my right arm. I looked to my left and I saw that Link was in the same dilemma and Malon and Goten were encased in green crystals.
“You’re quite good, boy, but this will be the battle that ends your life!”
“I don’t think so!” I lifted my left arm to where my watch was right next to my mouth. “Enable voice recognition. Password: BLASTERPOWER!” Suddenly, his arm completely turned into a buster cannon and pointed it straight at the Gerudo Sorceror.
“What trickery is this!?!?”
“This is a little something that a friend of mine-with my help, of coarse-developed. It’s specifically designed to eliminate any high-level barrier, including whatever you conjure up as a shield.” The buster cannon started to charge.
“You wouldn’t dare or you risk harming your friends.”
I stopped the charge and lowered the buster. “You bastard!” I smiled. “Disengage buster cannon.” My arm turned back. “But there’s still something I can do! Take this!!!!” I yelled as I shot him with a one-handed Hadou-ken. We were released from the grip and landed beside the organ.
“It seems that I underestimated you, boy. But you will not be able to survive this!!” Ganondorf used the Triforce of Power to transform into Ganon and shoot a beam at me from his eyes. I jumped to avoid the beam and delivered a fierce kick to his head.
“Here’s my advice to you: NEVER shoot eye-beams at me! They never work! Especially with power that weak.”
“How could you know how powerful I am?!”
“I can sense it. It seems you’re all talk. No wonder Link beat you.”
“You dare to mock me!?! You shall pay for that remark!” Some kind of portal opened under my feet and I fell into it. I could hear Malon screaming and somehow my body changing before I blacked out.

I agree. Since perfection is way too unobtainable, people often believe that there is a way to obtain it through cosmetic surgery or almost killing themselve just to get it.
