During my chemistry prelim the exam hall was absolutely freezing. My chemistry teacher came in half way through to let the invigilator go to the toilet. He realised how cold it was and said we should probably complain about it, saying it will have effected our marks.

That sounds like a load of bullshit. There is probably only 10% of the UK capable of getting those speeds due to the crap quality telephone lines and shitty exchanges used everywhere. I've got a max speed of 4.5MB to the local exchange and it's not likely to improve anytime in the near future.

It happens to me quite alot, I can go away from the page to another one on Newgrounds, come back, and it's still like that, refreshing doesn't help either. Yet, it seems to be fine if i reopen the browser or go to another site and come back.

I know that you can get a hdmi to dvi adaptor, i have one for playing my ps3 on my monitor sometimes. I think you should think about getting a ps3 then, that way you can use your monitor and still be able to play your old games with backwards compatibility.
