So I'm in the process of moving house, and I have a few poems to submit (I think it's just the one, I don't really know yet.) but the problem is; I have no Internet!
We just got the electrics working, but I have a feeling my computer is broken; because my dad was carrying it and the hard drive fell out of my computer, somehow...
Anyhow, I DO have poems that are ready to submit and one of them (probably the only one) is number two of my favourites (he first was called ~Stars~ but originally, it was a nameless poem in my first post.
So don't go anywhere!

Randomly browsing on NewGrounds on an iPod Touch just got better! Even though it was kind of short, it was jam-packed with meaning and some form of back story. If I ever find any other form of your literary art, I'll most definitely read it!
On an unrelated note,'you just inspired me to write a poem-story type thing! Awesome!

So my friend, Jessica, asked me to write a poem, and I was like 'Uhmm, okay, what to dooooo...~'
She told me to take my time, but in soon enough time, I had a poem, so I thought that I worked pretty quickly, considering I'm pretty slow...
So I though, because it's one of my poems, why not ask for your feedback!

~False Dreaming~
You said we were right,
Under the moon light,
We sat watching stars,
Embraced in your arms,

But that was a dream, or so I assumed,
And now as my daily life is presumed,
I realise that your love was a lie,
And now as I see that glowing spark die,
I'm filled with regret because it was you,
I loved you, but you didn't love me too.

Alright, there it was and still is, in all of it's glory!
I called it ~False Dreaming~ because it basically is just a dream, and it was false...

Hehe, I do write too much 'doom and gloom' stuff... I'll make it into a new genre of poem! ;)
That's my problem though. I can't find it in me to write about anything happy or more positive than this, the words just wouldn't flow properly, and it'd sound really stupid. Aaaaaaah~ I'm so complicated.

Okay... On this here thread, you can post your great (or not so great) game completion times and if the game is really uber (or not so uber), the secret to completing the game (if that actually happens on a game). Here's mine:
I got Halo: Reach for my birthday on Thursday (28th October) and completed it in a day. I'm not neccassarily saying I finished it on the same day, but it took me under 24 hours, which counts as a day.
I think that for a female gamer, this is pretty good, but you might say otherwise! ;)

Do you know anywhere on the internet where I can download free karaoke versions of songs or the sheet music, more specifically 'The Cab - I'll Run' and/or 'The Cab - One of THOSE Nights'.
I need them because I want to sing them infront of my school. I've already sung 'Mayday Parade - Miserable at Best', and that went okay... I guess...

I wanna start uploading me doing covers of songs onto this here website of NewGrounds... But the thing is, I dunno what to do a cover of, and where to get the music from, and whether I should go acapella or not...
Basically I want YOU. Yes YOU with caps and everything to choose a song for me to do, where to get the music from (preferably a free download) and if I should go acapella.
But to warn you- I cannot do screamo properly, my version PHAILS EHPIKALEE. And please don't think of some really crap or cheesy song for me to sing, that'd just be weird.

Back to the point...

The fourth line of the first stanza in 'Comparisons' sounds really weird... well infact, the whole poem sounds kinda starnge now... I guess you could say it was a practice poem to get me back into the swing of things...

The rhyme scheme and rhythm of the next two are kinda simple... I guess I'm not a night person...

'Dilly-dally, Shilly-shally' is... well, I dunno... I got the name from FFVII: Advent Children. lawlz

Hehe, in September (last month), I wrote one poem avery night for four nights... Actually, now that I think about it, it isn't that impressive... Well anyways, here they are (and sorry if they're bad, I was probably half asleep when I was writing):

~Comprisons - 20th September 2010~

Shall I compare you to the gleaming stars;
That innocent smile wherever you are,
Shall I compare you to the wind, leaving no trace;
The way you move with your speed and grace.

Comparisons are all god and well,
But deeper inside, evil dwells,
I've learnt to love you for being you,
They way you are and what you do.

I've learnt that if I try hard enough;
Even though it will be tough,
I can make you good again,
So all you loss will be a gain.

If we can make things right,
I know our futures will be bright.

Okay so...
1. I can survive without anything for 24 hours nevermind Cola... So I dunno if I'm a major game addict or not. :P

2. I don't wear the same haircut as my favourite game hero because one, I'm a girl and that'd be just wrong, and two, I don't know what the Master Chiefs hair looks like, or if he has any for that fact!

3. I don't think I could be like the Master Chief cause he's ehpick.

4. I don't even know what that means, so I'm gonna say no.

5. I do buy official guides, and I love the pictures! I admire them for more than a week sometimes... ^^

6. I do have game rage, if anyone walks infront of the TV, I'll be angry, and I'm one of those people that go 'How the FUCK did that guy kill me' when infact they no-scoped me fair and square.

7. I don't own any tee-shirts, cause they all look weird. Infact I don't have much game merchandise at all...

8. I do refresh my game browser a bit too ofen sometimes, and it really lags it out.

9. I haven't been having any nightmares about 7 foot soldiers. Just aliens... Big, scary aliens... ;)

10. I never usually play on a game till four in the morning... I've only once gone past that on a Friday night. It's a double exp weekend on Halo and I'm up till 6:30 am. I had to get up at 9:00 am. PHAIL.

I think I am a bit overly obsessed with games and crap like that... Just a bit though! ^^

I used to be well spoken when I lived in South Wales, but since moving from there to Stoke-on-Trent, I'm beginning to speak like them, losing all of my grammar. I'm writing a story too! And that'll probably be as bad as my poems! ;)

I was in English class on a Thursday, last lesson, and we was writing poems. My teacher was going to put them up on the wall in his classroom to show everyone how good at poetry his year 7 english class was. I wrote The Snake down and shown it to him. He was sat at his desk reading it, gob smacked. I was stood in front of him, grinning from ear to ear. When he'd read it he said: 'Well... Kama... It's a good poem, but it's mildly disturbing.' I nearly pissed myself laughing, as did the people around me. So I ended up writing Would You Could You, but it never ended up on the wall. Now I'm pissed.

Okay, so I'm a twelve year old girl who SHOULDN'T have read that! That's just gross! lol, I play Roblox, and if Telamon or Builderman saw this they'd be soooooo~ pissed, because they know it's true! The weirdest thing I've ever read! Let's hope that never happens when I'm on the same server as them both!

Okay, so I'm a 12 year old girl, and I like poetry...

The ending for Fallout 3 was bad, either live or die, but when the add-on was made, it was sorta cool. Worst game ending ever has to be Halo: Combat Eveolved, because right at the end when the ship thing blows up and he takes his helmet off, you don't know what he looks like. And that sucks.~

Edward Elric, Roy Mustang, the Homonculus symbol and the symbol that's on the back of Ed's coat (All from Full Metal Alchemist).

Zapdos, Ferraligatr, Leafeon, Arcanine, Charizard and Pidgeot.

What I want is for YOU GUYS out there to specify which picture to show, and I'll show it.
