That's exactly how I felt after I played the demo. Honestly, the demo is SHIT. After playing the full game, it really does feel a lot different than L4D. Trust me on that one.

I think Left 4 Dead 2 is everything that the original L4D wasn't. It's simply perfected now, with the exception of a few minor details. The melee helps the game out a lot and I think that was one of the most important things that was missing in the last game. The new campaigns, achievements, guns, and zombies are a great addition and I think that was very much needed. I was getting mildly bored of the original L4D. All in all, L4D2 is a great buy and I think many people would agree with me.

I miss the secrets. Back in the early 2000's, there was a point to having blam/save points and experience. There are no more secrets at high levels and I have noticed that it has gotten to the point where I rarely vote on any submissions. I don't care about the level icon, I miss the secrets. :(
