Just kidding. Happy thanksgiving everyone... may all of your dreams come true.

You *can*, but because it's a Video Podcast, we'd prefer music *videos*. If the song is clean (ie no lyrics or not too "busy") we can probably use it during our intro and credits...
Bump again! We have Afro Ninja and few other flash artists on board! Plus we also got Atari Games interested in our show so they'll be giving us stuff to give away on our show in contests! Picking up steam... hop on board!
bump in case it scrolled by too fast :(
Project Black Studios has signed a deal with an iPod video distrobution company in Los Angeles, CA to produce a weekly entertainment news/variety act. Think of it as "Entertainment Tonight" meets "The Late Show With David Letterman".
We will talk anime, movies, games, cars, and even do on-location shooting at different events. Each show, however, has roughly 3-8 minutes to be filled with non-news parodies or... perhaps, your flash toon!
If you are a flash artist and are looking for another outlet to get your work viewed, we will be happy to take your contributions in .avi file format! They will be added to our programming which will be viewable by anyone with an iPod Video! Submissions are preferred not to exceed 60 seconds (unless they are REALLY good) and all artists will be credited for the toon before and after it plays, as well as in the credits with a link to your site at the end of the show. Think of it as free publicity for you, your site and your work!
We ask that we get all of our submissions before August 6th, 2006... and again, we would like them to be in .avi File Format (they will ultimately end up at 320x240 resolution... the iPod video resolution.) Our podcast show will begin showing September 3rd, 2006.

Thanks!

Hurricane Katrina has come and gone, and the effects of the storm will be long-lasting not just in the pocketbooks, but in memory. It's a big, shitty mess down in Louisiana today, and when I take a look over at Newgrounds.com to see whatever LA parody flash might have sprung up, I see the Intenet Goth's and Hot Topic's maniacal talking squirrel on the front page.
As if he's not there every week by default anyway.
"The problem with making a commentary like this is that you could be labeled... hypocritical. Y'know...
"In the time you spent recording and editing this flash, you could have cleared 80 miles towards New Orleans to actually lend a hand."
I've got a website that frequently talks about issues like you have here today, and the only thing I try to do is promote awareness, not force people into action. My Uncle (Retired Air Force), Aunt (Retired Reserves), and their two girls live in Mandeville, LA... which is basically on the opposite side of a lake from New Orleans. We've been able to contact them... the girls are staying at a hotel where my aunt works, and my uncle's sticking it out at a Home Depot where he works now.
The biggest problem facing the region isn't that nobody cares, it's that nobody who's *there* can help anyone BUT THEMSELVES. Mandeville has all the problems New Orleans does, with the notable exception of flooding... but it's kinda hard to get into the region when there's trees, powerlines, fireants in all the floodwater, and mosquitos breeding like mad.
The single loose footing of this cartoon is that "Foamy" fails to understand it's not a lack of action that's destroying the area... it's lack of options. Hell, even the military has condemned the city... nobody can get in.
I'm from Texas... and the only thing we can do (which isn't bad) is send a convoy of 500 buses to pick people up and move folks into Austin... and about the "Gas Prices", at nearly .00 a gallon, yes it IS a big problem and it will hurt more to pick them up than it would to leave them be... but we're doing it anyway because the money will always be "there" for us to use.
Just ask the President... look how many billions of dollars he's signed off on in the middle of our fake war and now, during the biggest national crisis since 9/11."
I'm just happy nobody's tried to call this spam or something yet... very positive sign.
Heyo... our 1 year anniversary is coming up, and we need to diversify our writing staff! The website is here as an icon for freedom of speech, as well as perverse, twisted humor. Think you got what it takes to captivate an audience of thousands? Hundreds of unique hits daily, plus updating the site is as simple as posting on a forum!
Got a sick sense of humor? Do you have decent writing ability? Check out what we're looking for, and please apply for a job you'd like! Benefits to be discussed later...
All of those voices are indeed my own, with the exception of the "woman on the telephone" in the Project Black promo... that was actually a woman.
Under recommendation, this is a repost of a thread I made over in the General area.
Hey folks... got a nice voice and some great equipment on hand at my school: Would like to get some practice in doing voice acting for a decent flash animation.

That will take you to 8 commercials I've done for my school... just to give you an idea of my voice and articulation.
E-mail links are available on the site, or through my newgrounds profile! Thanks!

Eh... if I do this, won't this thread get deleted for making a dupe thread? I'll just play it safe and hope a mod moves it...

...perhaps some of you would be interested in affiliating with *my* site? Something tells me we're a little bit higher on the food chain than this other guy...
We've already got two artists on board for the project... one's already working on his piece: Anyone else out there feel like they've got something they can contribute?

Bit of an ego? Besides, you're looking at the "deal" from the wrong perspective... just don't worry about it anymore... you've been rejected before you ever applied, and in public no less. ;)
There's gotta be a bit more interest in this than has been shown here... only 5 e-mails?

Use it if you'd like.
My site... down? Nah... I was just moving crap around on it a second ago, but it's online.
...and I'm not looking to *buy* anyone's work... just put a little money behind your creative process. Again, e-mail for details... don't wanna spam up the site and get every beatnik flash animator from here to Ohio e-mailing me... only serious peeps need apply!
Hey guys... any of ya'll looking for some sponsorship for your upcoming flash animations? I'm looking to add some flash content to my website here soon, and would be willing to pay artists for certain contributions.
If anyone's interested, hit me up at:

The actual production values for the documentary were good, they got somme great interviews with a wide range of people and traveled to many locations. In the end, something like "Bowling for Columbine" should have been strictly a documentary... aafter about the halfway mark you can tell that our charming host took a side in the issue and then became biased and opinionated in his line of questioning.
Bowling for Columbine could have been so much more if only they would have kept an open mind about the situation... after awhile it was like a Klansman producing a documentary on Kwanzaa... something that just doesn't work.
http://www.projectblack.com owns you all...
what is southpark interactive?
Oh yeah... people that hate me will get a kick out of the movie too. I'm not 100%, but I believe I die via bicycle chain friction against the neck...
Cartman's mom... heh. I gotta admit it did surprise me when I heard someone wanted South Park to actually have a place in Ray's world... that's some boo.
Everyone remember Ray Part 1? Well, Project Black has scored an exclusive interview with its creator, as well as some screenshots from the upcoming sequel! Read all about it on Project Black v2.0:

I'm a big fan of "Lupin the 3rd"... I'm actually trying to get a radio play going on my site for it.
Great mindset... dobio... real friendly. Keep that two inch prick in your pants next time you're feeling big, asshole.
Hey guys... here's a new anime forum looking for a few members to get some action started! Check it out... not a bad layout.

Yes! For those of you who kept up with the recent "My .com is now online! Woo yay!" thread, my new and improved forums are now online too! They're so beautiful compared to my old one...

I have never broken a single part of my body !
Not even teh leg or something.
That's whats funny about the whole thing... I'm 19 years old and never once had an injury like anything I've had recently... and it all started when I was taken off my parent's health insurance. Well! Now I'm going back to school (not to pass, just to keep myself covered).
