Response to: Team Void Wants You! Posted July 12th, 2005 in Game Development

Haha, I remember seeing your idea about this a LONG time ago...

Anyway, it sounds like a good idea! I will help if you want!

The only problem is that I am vacationing in Florida right now until Sunday so we're going to have to wait a bit if you want me...

I have a few older flash in the portal, if you wanna check those out, but I honestly must say that my artistic abilities have greatly improved since the time of those flash. Check out some of my more recent posts to see a few pics and links to some of my more current art!

Thanks!

Heyy! That looks pretty spiffy!!

It reminds me of something you would see out of the older years, like a cereal box with the "Rough Rider" on it!

I like it!

Wow, lowering the quality of that last Photoshop image made it lose a lot...

Here is a possible button for a web page:

Use ActionScript and buttons and movieclips.

There probably is something about it on www.Flashkit.com or www.actionscript.org

Response to: Huge Help Please... Posted June 30th, 2005 in Game Development

Or you could say something like:

if (x>"width") { gotoAndPlay ("2", 1);

I know that's bad, but it's because I am not a scripter!

Response to: Which 3D Program!? Posted June 24th, 2005 in Game Development

For THE BEST 3D software, it would come down to Maya, by Alias, or 3ds Max.

They are both top of the line and i know that both of them have made some parts in huge movies like Lord of the Rings and The Matrix.

Also, Swift 3D is supposedly pretty good for beginners, but it's capabilities are very unlimted compared to those other two...

I dunno...just plain words aren't very much...

You need to spice it up, give it some zing and some pazazz! I recommend some abstract background complimented by some sort of abstract shape/logo thing surrounding the letters!
