10 megs..... oh god.

i haven't put the preloader in yet and we are already at 8.93.... this is what a years worth of animating gets us. though a lesson to a lot of submissions.... optimizing is a beautiful thing. one .fla in particular was 20 megs alone. lol..... all 4 of my pieces combined weren't even that big.

whats the max file size a .swf can be? i'll check right now as well, but if someone answers before i find out.

so i'm head deep into finalizing this now. as ekublai and happy sheep had both submitted pieces along with meebs and myself, i'm squezing it so all 4 are in it.

we still need one 98 frame piece at 20fps and dimensions of 500W x 350H

again. only top quality will be accepted. and the only reason why we are waiting is for EKublai. we are aiming for tuesday or wednesday submission.

Volito, you can feel free to try, it will be a strict decision on whether a piece is in or not.... but if your up for the challenge to try. With EKublai out for a bit with the loss of a family member, the collab won't be submitted till he's back to vote 5 :P .... or blam.

Meebs, I agree that 5 authors is best. so that means we can simplify the vote by getting everyone to pick one person who they believe deserves co-author.... other then, yourself, EKublai, MadandUgly and myself.

that piece doesn't look overly small me, though i use a 19 inch monitor.

now i worked on the credit piece and besides a button to return you to the menu, besides updating the credit info at the very end, i'm done of it. now i have the menu to do... and thats it

there is no preloader, so don't maximize the file or it'll most likely run slowly

hey Meebs and MadandUgly, do you remember the creator of the music for the menu and intro?
