Can anyone else verify this?

I have heard that anything submitted after 9 PM EST is considered a submission for the next day and is therefor is eligible for the next days awards.

For Example, even though it is still the 7th, if I were to submit a flash right now it would be in the running not for today's awards, but tomorrow's.

Am I right?

The best advice for lip syncing is to not over think it. just make ovals in the shapes your mouth makes. It's pretty easy, really, but just REALLY tedious.

Yeah, the feeling you get when you submit a flash you worked hard on is magnificent. I remember hitting the submit button for DOND:CDE after 3 months of painstaking work. It was orgasmic.

I just got back into flash after not making anything serious since 2007. I finally found success with "Deal Or No Deal: Clock Day Edition", and then just fizzled out into nothing.

But now, I'm back in action and about halfway through with the first non-clock flash I'ver amdesince 2006, and serious-toned one at that.

It feels nice to be back.

What are the requirements for an artist's blog to go on the front page? Does he have to be award-winning? Have certain number of fans? Flashes? Views?

I'm just curious, is all.

Preferably a wee bit on the gruff side

If you have ever seen a show like a show like "Flight Of The Conchords" or "Extras" or "The Office", then you will know what I mean when I say that the script is very deadpan, very dry kind of humor. No silly voices or anything. One more VERY important thing is sound quality. No tinny voices, No white noise, no popping your P's. Seamless sound quality is of the utmost importance.

You would be credited for your work (like have your name in the credits and a link to your profile), and there would be a possibility of more work after this first go. If you are interested drop me a PM, and I will give you some lines to read as a tryout.
