is it possible to be both Patrick and Squidward at the same time? I think that's about where I fall.

Response to: EducationConnecti on.com Posted January 9th, 2012 in General

I thought they were going to tone it down a bit when they got Shannon Doherty in one of them and i hated it a little less, then they started running this horrid auto-tuned garbage, it hurts me. They're still no where near as bad as the Collins College ads from a couple years back.

Response to: Kids Who Dance In Public Places Posted January 9th, 2012 in General

intently focused on bouncing breasts, the dancing is irrelevant. Seeing someone just break into dance for no real reason could be fun, having to see it over and over and over on youtube is another story.

is Electronic Gaming Monthly dead too? Sad that Gamepro is gone...but hardly surprising.

it's all about money, they see a formula that works and gets ratings, so the next logical step is make more things like it and make more money. People are sheep and will go right along with it too.

Response to: Weirdest thing you have... Posted January 7th, 2012 in General

I've never stolen anything, everyone's just holding my stuff till I want to use it...But really, I can't think of anything that would qualify as strange. A Playboy when I was about 14, an issue of Heavy Metal not long before that, i did try to buy it outright first hoping they'd just think it was just a comic book. Then there was the switchblade comb because I knew my parents wouldn't get me one. But I stopped because I was crazy paranoid for a week after, all like "shit! they know" every time some unknown adult came knocking or called the house.

Have you even SEEN the Spy Kids movies? They were Robert Rodriguez movies, and he didn't die in ANY of them
Well, I refuse to see the 4th one, so I don't know about that one

Of course he didn't die in those, they're kid's movies. But I guess I should have been more specific: Cheech Marin always getting killed in Robert Rodriguez movies that are rated R and also none of the following; Spy Kids, Shark Boy and Lava Girl, Shorts...or for that matter, any other movie that he directed that Cheech managed to not be in. gosh

Prometheus will kick everything's ass. I don't have a great feeling about John Dies At The End...I don't think it'll do the book justice by any stretch, but I'll watch it. The Expendables 2 is a definite must see. Total Recall is getting a reboot this year and I'm not happy about it but I still need to see it. The Woman in Black, I want to see what post-potter Radcliff can do. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Brave, Dark Knight, and more I'm sure.

Response to: Bad '90s cartoons Posted January 4th, 2012 in General

I had a love hate relationship with Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego, Daria was meh, and I couldn't understand what was so great about Samurai Pizza Cats or Biker Mice From Mars. Overall though, I thought the 90's was a great time for animated TV shows before the anime\anime knockoff invasion. I'm quite happy to see that has been winding down over the last few years too.

Response to: movies that are so bad thier good Posted January 3rd, 2012 in General

I'd have to go with the unrated version of Bloodrayne (only because I haven't seen the theatrical version). The visible gas propellant that they used for the bloodsplosion when Meatloaf gets his gut sliced open, and the group of raiders or whatever lazily slapping a pile of meat that was once a monk with their swords, like kids poking a dead animal with a stick. Also, I've never seen so many people get stabbed in the face in a single movie.

Response to: Bet Vs Mtv Posted January 3rd, 2012 in General

MTV's single redeeming quality is that they finally brought back Beavis and Butthead. Still I can't be bothered with tuning in to the the channel and just watch them online instead. I didn't even know BET was still around...

Response to: Worst movie you've ever watched Posted January 3rd, 2012 in General

A.I. was fantastic until Spielberg put his twist on it. You can totally tell where he added his own flare at the end (aliens? really?). Damn you for being dead, Kubrick!

Suckerpunch was pretty bad. I didn't go in with high expectations and it still let me down.

Human Centipede was shit once you got past the WTF factor.

When I fist saw American Psycho in the theater i didn't really get it and nearly walked out, it's grown on me though.

Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull made me die a little inside.

And then there was Ralph Bakshi's Fire and Ice....i can only take so much rotoscope and crap voicework.

There are plenty of worse movies but I think the hatred for Uwe movies is pretty much universal

Because of a stupid game my wife and her brother used to play, insert "monkey" into the name of a breakfast cereal and see who comes up with the worst/best one. It was a toss up username wise between FrostedMonkeyFlakes and GrapeMonkeyNuts, I'd rather my username was just Frosty anymore though.

Response to: how can i tell my brother... Posted August 23rd, 2009 in General

I've been in a similar relationship myself. Believe me when I say there is nothing anyone can say that is going to get him to see the truth. He pretty much blind and deaf and dumb to everything but her despite how bad she may treat him and everyone else until she breaks it off, and it more than likely will be her. You can talk to him till you're blue in the face it's not gonna do any good because they're, "in looooooooove". Only after it's over will he realize just how bad for him she really was.

But maybe you can be more persuasive than my family and the few friends I had left by the end.

Response to: Lies! X3 Posted August 18th, 2009 in General

there was always the "you keep eating ____ and you're going to turn into one" I never wanted to be a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup so bad in my life, all I got was sick.

"It takes one to know one" and in all honesty I never realized the fucked up insinuation until just now.

Santa, which I happily ruined for my sister when she was around 6-8 by pointing out that Santa had the same handwriting as dad and the box her shiny new bike came in was sitting by the garbage cans on the side of the house. I regret busting that one because that was the last year we got the kick ass Santa gifts unwrapped and ready to play with first thing x-mas morning.

The Easter Bunny, but even as a kid I knew that didn't add up at all, I just went along with it to ensure I still got my basket full of goodies from him every year.

OH OH OH and this one was great from my dad "If someone hits you, you hit them back" I tried that, I got suspended and grounded and my ass beat by him for doing what he told me I should do.

And my Grandma still believes the lie that you cannot let cats near a sleeping baby because cats will sit on the sleeping baby's chest and steal there breath (something about the sweet smell of breastmilk on their breath attracts the cat).

That they would never make comparisons between my sister or my dad when he was a kid and myself (in relation the school/grades) because it was unfair to hold expectations based on someone who is nothing like me. A month later my dad rubbed all his old report cards in my face and yelled at me because at my age he was getting A's and B's while I was puling straight D's.

I now understand having kids of my own that they are more apt to believe the lies than the truth anyway, especially about where babies come from. When we told our oldest about how babies are really made he laughed and called us both liars. We also hold up the Santa bit, I'm not really sure why because I remember how betrayed I felt as a small child learning the truth of it.

Response to: TV Shows that need to be re-aired. Posted August 17th, 2009 in General

I don't know why I took the time to find the intros to all of them but i did

Live action shows: Married With Children being the top, then there's Cheers((talk about an opening that doesn't fit the feeling of a show), The A-Team, Knightrider, Street Hawk, Night Court and Moonlighting(Bruce Willis detective show? yes please).

As far as cartoons: Invader Zim, Rocko's Modern Life, Eek the Cat, Siverhawks, The Ronin Warriors, and Tranzor Z (took a few to track that show down, I couldn't remember what it was called but it destroyed Voltron.)

Just got a new one meself, she's round about 3-5 months old. One of the new neigbors got her about 2 months ago and just dumped her outside minus food and water. We pulled her out from under our car a few days ago half dead, said fuck them she's ours now. Pretty sure she's a Maine Coon, she's gonna be a giant.

Thanks for all the input guys. To answer the what kind of guitar it's a Corbin 6 string, I looked and looked and could find nothing on this guitar aside from some wholesale company based in China.

I'll be sure to check that ultimate guitar website. I wish I could afford to get an instructor, maybe after tax returns next year. I do know a guy at work who plays lead in a band so I may start bugging him to take me in.

here's the guitar
