Um, my serve is pretty good, my slice could leave a bit to be desired, but my heater and kick serves are great atm. Ground strokes are alright, and at about the same level. My volleys are bro, usually getting depth or angles. My best shot (which I guess is a specialty shot, more than a basic shot like a serve or volley) is the passing shot, im the boss at those. And I'm an all-court player with more of a tendency to serve and volley.

Awesome. Is there anything you want to talk about specifically?

US Open results? Working on your slice?

There's really not much to talk about till the end of the year, so it's up to you/any other potential members.

PERHAPS!

Good luck convincing people that Jesus could walk on water and then turn it into wine.

Just give really poor people food and convert them, that's how Christianity became so big in the first place.

Some people enjoy wrestling for ages. Up until he was like 65, my grandfather watched only Tennis, Wrestling, and Indian Programs (since he's Indian). It was really weird, but I guess Wrestling appeals to some people more than others...

Heh, i watched that a few months ago. I hadn't heard anything about it either, but i was quite suprised that it was actually a decent movie with quite a few funny moments. Plus, the main actress is hot, and was pretty likeable in the movie :D

It looked like a good comedy (relatively of course), and I wanted to see it. I'll definitely look for it sometime.

You guys should all watch I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell, it is a completely unconventional comedy and is really new and different than anything I've seen this year. It's not the best movie out there, but it's definitely unique enough for you to watch, and I thought it was one of the better movies that came out this year.

Haha, sorry, I've been away from NG for a while, so I don't really check back often.

It would be awesome if you could make a post that had like, everyone who posted in 2009 to this club as a member.

I like playing doubles if I can find a good partner because I love team sports. Just having a teammate is fun for me. The only problem is if my teammate is REALLY bad, or I don't get along with him at all. I have three friends that I play tennis with all the time, and what would happen is that I always got paired with the one I couldn't stand as a doubles partner, so it was hard to play through that, even though we always won because individually we were better than the other two.

Forum: Clubs & Crews

Hi guys, I think I posted here before, but I guess I'll introduce myself again. I'm Fremen, and I go to NG very sporadically (just when I have nothing else to do). I used to be quite active, but nowadays I just come for cheap entertainment.

The thing I wanted to say was that I recently started getting into comics and I really love htem. The kind I like the best are independent ones that are usually in black and white and employ creative and original artwork. I just found a great one called "I Kill Giants" at Borders and I've read a lot of good ones that have some reputation (A History Of Violence, Wanted, Watchmen, Y: The Last Man, Top 10, and a lot more). Have any of you read I Kill Giants? I love it's pseudo manga style and quirky characters. It is quite a good read, and I suggest it.

I read a bunch of the Civil War saga (or whatever you'd call it) and I just couldn't bring myself to like it to the same level as I like independent ones. I also read the Green Arrow two part collection of that time when he came back to life. The problem I always had with these traditional Marvel and DC comics is that the stories are always so complicated and retconned that it is never any fun reading them. I can't just pick up a comic from them and read it the way I can pick up some others. The artwork is always good though, and I read a lot of them just for that. For example, I started the Ultimate X-Men and one of the more recent Teen Titans series before the storylines pushed me away.

If any of you guys reads other, non-traditional comic books a lot, I'd love to discuss those here.

I just saw two indies a night ago and I really liked them:

Lovely and Amazing: Kind of a chick flick, but it was so much more real and deep. I liked it because the acting was amazing, it had a great story, and the dialogue was very well done. I loved the supporting cast, like the babystitter and the agent.

The Ice Storm: This one is a bit older, and was done by Ang Lee. I missed the beginning, so I kind of lost a bit of the symbolism and underlying context of the last scene (I watched a short commentary on it after the movie). I still loved the characters and the internal struggles they were going through. The story was powerful and the end left me sad, even though I didn't even know the character who died (since I missed the beginning). I think that Kline's acting in this was perfect. The way he looked at Toby Mcguire in the last scene was amazing and lingered in my mind way after I changed the channel.

If you've seen these, I'm wondering what you thought about them.

I'm very much looking forward to it, and corrospondingly I will post the arguement that was raised in my class, and something I used just recently in defence of the existence of God. If anybody could help me further explain this theory, and teach me the idea's behind tolorence, I would very much apprechiate it.

The proof to say God is real lies within the beauty of creation itself. See how can something so perfect be formed by random events, or mistake. Take a ruler for example, it has been designed for a purpose, it measures and reads, it cannot have been designed by nature.

The Camera, is based off the human eye, yet the Camera is un-natural, because it could not have been created by nature, and has been designed with a purpose.

Now take this into context, how can something so precise as human life be created so flawlessly by total random. Every part of the human body co-exists and works together to acheive what we are today. Isn't the probability of human life being so impossible; enough evidence to say that if the ruler has a purpose and has been designed - then if we have a purpose, therefore we must have been designed.

I don't blindly believe this, just what people consider 'no evidence' is something that surrounds you in everyday life.

No offense, but that argument is horrible. If God made every person to be perfect, then why do we all have defects, some minor, and some major? If God made everything so beautiful, why is there so much violence and suffering in this world?

I believe that treating God as an entity that has a human mind, a will, if you will, is completely unrealistic. I'm well aware that there are counter arguments to this, like God wants to tempt us and stuff like that, but I believe that God doesn't have a mind, and that we can't understand God's motives and that quite honestly, we can't describe or relate to God in human terms.

Science tells us that the probability of life occurring is infinitesimally small, but so is winning the lottery, and that happens every day. Just because something has a very small probability of happening doesn't mean that it never happens.

If sounds like you are just trying to prove the Creation/Intelligetn Design theory, which has been logically and scientifically disproved many times over. Go watch the Nova special if you really want to learn more about that.

Still up in the air. I'm expecting these discussions to be long and protracted.
It probably is just to drum up publicity, then when the original actors sign back on, everyone will be relieved and it'll gain an even bigger audience.

That makes sense. Stirring up the pot always works. Look at what happened with Jon and Kate.

I just hope that the quality will be good. Until then, I'm going to keep working on getting Into the Wild Green Yonder.

I just got Eminem's Relapse, and I have to say, it's a very good album. I like Bagpipes from Baghdad so far, but I'm still working my way through it slowly.

I also love the skits in this one as well. They are what bring the albums together and make it stick out from other albums.

I just wish that Eminem did another Public Service Announcement. I remember memorizing those back when I was in 7th grade and was starting to get interested in his music.

Dude, I'd rather see it canceled than continued and suckified. A lot of great shows just go on too long, or fuck up and become horrible, and that wrecks their reputations. I really don't want to let that happen to Futurama. My favorite show, Entourage, is only good because it can introduce new concepts and ideas without sacrificing quality.

Most shows get old (like House), or lose their touch (Scrubs). Futurama was good because each episode was so weird and unique, and still so intelligent and funny.

If they wreck Futurama, even for one season, the whole show will go down in flames. I bet that'll kill future movie opportunities also.

Watching the movie made me want to read the comic book, which was also amazing. If you read that, you'll see quite clearly, that Watchmen and Nolan's Batmans are the best comic book movies ever made.

Honestly, it was the most fun and touching movie I've seen recently, and was an instant classic. It basically made the franchise (outside of the books themselves of course). Well I'm getting a strange vibe from danzo's sharingan. Could it be that danzo somehow either took madara's eye or maybe they're in cahoots with each other. It's highly likely that danzo is working with the uchiha in some way or another. Keeping him contained in the village would do wonders for madara when the time comes to take on the nine tails. Tobi is definately madara, it just that maybe he's not "all" of madara.

This is indeed a ridiculously huge mystery. Madara has both of his eyes, so logically, it can't be him. Then again, knowing Madara, he might know some way to get around this or so something that most others could never imagine, such as how Sasuke has two Mangekyou's by the virtue of Itachi.

It's known that Itachi was working with Konoha, but I don't think that Madara is. He might be working with Danzo exclusively. I think that Danzo has the good of Konoha in mind, and won't do too much damage now that he's Hokage. Still, I think he's one of the last people I'd like to see as Hokage.

I also want to bring up the subject of Naruto's promotion. At least give him like Special Jounin for being so kick ass. I want to see him participate in a Chuunin and Jounin exam. I think that'd be good fun, but I think we're above and beyond that at this point...

I've searched at least 5 different websites with walkthroughs for this part, but I can't figure it out:

Sand People Enclave.

Every time I come here, they automatically attack me. All I want to do is talk to them, but I have no choice but to fight. I keep going back to the same load point, and it's just getting annoying now since I can't find any guards outside of the enclave for me to talk to (since my disguise sucks and they always see through it), and when I go in they just start attacking.

http://www.groovgames.com/display.cfm?id =221

That guide says to find a guard, which I can't find peacefully.

http://www.gamebanshee.com/starwarskotor /locations/sandpeopleenclave.php

That guide says to waltz in and I'll autotrigger a confrontation with the Sand People Chieftain, but al that happens is that two guards start hitting me.

I've put on the sand people clothes, and I've taken off EVERYTHING off both characters and even all of HK's stuff. There seems to be no solution without killing everyone, and I don't wanna do that since I'm a light side character. I've even tried sneaking into the place, but that doesn't work at all, since when I go through the door, the whole party comes and we get auto attacked.
