Also, My PC does NOT have an input slot, so I cannot run a cable from the headphone jack in my keyboard to the input jack in my PC.
Look, Im just trying to transfer songs from my keyboard to my PC using my keyboards USB, and my Laptops USB. I plug it in, I go to control panel, devices, and My computer recognizes the keyboard as a device, and it's installed, but all my music players (windows media player, winamp ext) Will NOT recognize I have anything plugged in, which I do. So the cable is fine, the only thing I need now is a music player, and or software, that will see my keyboard as a device, and let me transfer my shit from the keyboard, to that music player. It doesn't matter if the files come out MIDI, I have a transfer software. =) Hope this gave you more detail.
Alright, So I have an electric keyboard, and a PC. I can create pretty neat songs on the keyboard, And I would really like if I could share them with the world on newgrounds. Now, I have a cable going from the keyboard to the PC. The PC recognizes the device. But none of my music players will recognize I have a device plugged in, therefore I cannot record my songs. Any idea's on how to get this to work?

Well, I have a keyboard, and I recently started composing my own songs, adding beats and such to it, and so on. What would be the easiest way to transfer songs from my electronic keyboard onto my laptop?
