Thanks, I'll definitely talk to her tomorrow, I'll summon up the courage and after that, it'll be a hell of a lot easier

Thanks!

Heyy good job on this. really good guide

Question (Need advice really)

Well I like this girl, and I've told her how I feel and she said that she'll go out with me if she gets to know me more, thing is though, I find it really hard and awkward to talk to her in school, and, becuase as I said before, I won't get to know her, so we won't get closer, I'm not normally a shy type

Does anybody have any advice?

Thanks

Today, when one of my mates shouted in my class the fact that I fancy someone, who was in the same room. The teacher, who's a dick anyway, then started making comments throughout the whole lesson so...yer...

Oh right it's this:
Try holding down SHIFT while plugging it in. You need to do this every time you plug your iPod in.

But is there any way to stop it permanently and automically, becuase it never used to pop up before...

Hey does anybody know how to fix this:

When I connect my iPod via USB, it comes up as a removable drive, and the window pops up, after that, when it disconnects, the window goes away just as soon as it appeared

How can I make it not pop up as soon as I plug it in?

I thik that this is an awesome flash (if you can keep it up anyway!)

You could definitely develop this story into something really really exciting!

Just the mouths and maybe the heads (as said before) need to be refined but apart from that, well done so far and keep it up

I can't wait to see this on the frontpage! ;]

Heyy NG,

(I posted this in the General forum orginally and realised it should be here)

I know I've already asked about which Flash actionscript book I should get, but I;m not sure between these books

One of the books is game development: Link

The others on just actionscript 2.0 in general are here: Link

Thing is, should I get a good overall AS book or one that develops just on game making?

Much Appreciated

Hey,

I'm in the midst of making a collection of curosr trails and effects (just trying to get used to actionscript)

Thing is now though, I'm trying to put them all together so once I press a certain button, the effect changes into the next one.

Someone told me that I shpould put all the frames of the effects that I have into one movieclip, on different layers, and then put on(release){nextFrame();} on one button, and on(release){prevFrame();} on another but I don't know what to do.

If somebody could be a bit more detailed and explain it to me step by step, I'd be grateful

Thanks

It's looking good so far Andy!

I think that when the music goes all dramatic, and the tension starts to build, you should maybe add the person running down a corridor, the lights flickering on and off, as the shadow gets closer every time the lights come back on, the character looks back and, as the music reaches it's climax (lol) he turns around and sees the thing

Only and idea

You can get them on NG if you go to the submit page and look for NG API at the bottom of the page... however you will be lucky to make a few $ out of this. The best way is to get sponsorship from FGL as you can get nice big sums of cash =D

If you sign up for it do you have to pay them money?
