Seemed like all his jokes were the sort that are capable of sustaining laughter when it's already there, but none were good enough to generate the initial laughter. Basically, he sucked. Almost had me going when he said the hurricane was blowing people, but then he wrecked the metaphor way too early.
I should note, he also doesn't take heckling very well. He got PISSED at the Emilio reference. I'm serious, I hate comedians who can't handle a heckler. You're on stage, make fun of them a few times, if they keep making it impossible to do you're act, THEN throw them out. These primadonna ones that have people thrown out right away are asses.
Personally, the worst I've seen is probably some local. But if we want semifamous or overrated, Jeff Dunham. He does the same voice for all his puppets with different accents. Same voice, different accent. Bad voice actor. His jokes are predictable and too stereotype based. Nothing groundbreaking.
Really? I don't think Achmed or Jose sound like any of the others. If you're gonna go with Walter or Peanut, yeah I'll give you that. I will say this though, he's actually funnier without the puppets. His pre=puppet intro is hysterical. I also love how he waits for people who go to the bathroom.
Also, Dane Cook sucks. That pretty much goes without saying.
Agreed

Yeah they're racist, they get up on stage and say horrible things, yet Mike Richards gets up on stage, does exactly the same thing, and gets crucified for it.
Saw this guy not too long ago... Jay Davis, I'm sorry, he's not funny. But he was part of Dane Cook's (also not funny) tours. Let me say... when I saw this guy a bunch of people started going "Quack Quack Quack!" aparently taking stabs at the fact that he is a dead ringer for Emilio Estevez in looks and voice.
Who is the worst you've ever seen?
CROTCH GRAB!!!

Not my fault...
People just don't want to Photoshop this guy for a couple of reasons.
1. Because photoshop threads have all but disappered from NG due to morons and Mods banning them... oh wait...
-The thread title is too heavily opinionated,
True...
so this has somehow started a debate among the thick-skulled NG'ers quick to jump on just to say "Nuh-uh."
Also true, but still not my fault...
-The base pic sucks.
Yeah yeah, we get someone saying that in every photoshop thread.
He's not really in any position that's easily exploitable, and we only got half of his body.
I've seen you guys do more with just a face!
Whatever we're doing, we're going to hope this muppet is photoshopped from the waist up.
So???????
He's not doing anything interesting. Nothing is here to spark our imagination other than the fact that he rips off the AVGN.
You just summed up his videos! So this is appropriate!!!
"Oh, I guess we can photoshop him next to the nerd?" Wrong. Where are we going to stick a desk in next to him? "He was at the World Trade Center at 9/11!" ...if he was sitting at a desk outdoors... You see now why this thread is failing?
Um... no?
You probably could've gotten five photoshops off of this guy if you hadn't over-glorified him and just said "Photoshop some asshole."
With the anonymity, the ADHD regulars of the BBS wouldn't get distracted. Maybe along the way, you'll inevitably find the four users in NG who have heard of this guy and equally shares disgust with you, sparking conversation.
Ok, here you go guys:
PHOTOSHOP SOME ASSHOLE!

That's not true, I don't think EVERY muslim would blow up buildings. But take a look at the Muslim countries of the world. The Extreme muslims are the ones that would blow up buildings, and they are starting to look more and more like the majority.
Iran- Extremists
Pakistan- Extremists
Afganistan- Extremists
etc. etc.
Rappers... look let me put it this way, if the majority (more then 50%) of a group re-enforces the steriotype, then it's valid. I hate people who say, "Well not EVERYONE does it... so the steriotype isn't valid."
That's like saying because one mailman decides to not deliver mail on one day, that the steriotype that mailmen DELIVER letters is invalid!

Any genre you could sit for days even months researching, listening to bands, artists etc and probably find some bands/ artists you find absolutely incredible even in genres you don't particularly enjoy to find they have never had any success other than local status.
To be fair, I've listened to quite a bit of rap as my brother listens to it. Everything from the way it was to the way it is now, I've never heard anything I like.
You're bitching on rappers that are your typical raised on the streets, stealing to get by, dealing and doing drugs to only find they have a major mainstream talent in music and become insanely rich gloating about the bootys they can smack despite life still being hard for them.
Very true, this IS how I see rap, I've yet to see any evidence to the contrary.
This is your stereotype, if you do not follow this mainstream train to success you stick to your guns make good music but only get noticed by those with a particularly large interest in the genre.
My brother has gone to underground shows, small time gigs, etc. Most without huge record deals, still all seems the same to me.
If you stop being so narrow minded you may see talent in this genre, if you are not interested in this genre in the first place then don't bother arguing against it, as you are wasting your time.
I don't view it as wasting time. I view it as exposing the truth, that anyone can rap with time and practice, NOT everyone can sing, and rap shouldn't even be considered a legitimate music form. Period.

the point is that people will assume stereotypes represent the majority when they actually DON'T.
In this case, I think they do!
Likewise, what's more prevalent out there...your idea of "what's more prevalent" hinges upon your familiarity with media and what you passively or actively look for. the fact that certain content (regardless of its actual quality) has the backing of major labels, big advertising budgets, and radio/TV station payola does not mean that type of content is REALLY "what's more prevalent" out there. it's just what gets more paid-for airtime and/or controversy-fueled publicity. there comes a time when you have to realize that the loudest folks aren't always the ones that speak for everyone else, and that there IS a "silent majority" out there that can't be summarized so easily by simply-defined demographic blocs.
Well if that is the case, then we need a more specific category for this type of rap music, what would you qualify that as? Because honestly, if that's not the case, then it needs to be addressed. I mean look at Punk Rock. It has gone from bands like The Cure, Sex Pistols, and NOFX to stupid bands like Bowling for Soup, Sum41, and the like. Now you can say that not all punk is like that, but sadly, most Punk bands these days ARE like that and sadly, the problem is now THEY ARE THE MAJORITY!
