Well LN is back up... but the forum is horrifically out of date. Our own laziness defeated us :( Anywaaaay... I dunno how many people from LN frequent NG but I think someone who's involved in organisation of this meet up should make a topic in the LN forum if you wanna get that aspect of things moving. Sorry to all people who lost accounts... good thing they're free eh!

Ugh sorry to all LN regulars... we have a small problem to do with our host no longer existing. I've started looking round for a new one, if anyone has any recommendations please email me... til then, remain vigilant, Lazizens, for you know not when lameness will strike!

Even people who are blatantly over-18 can still get denied if they have no ID... and on a busy night groups of single blokes sometimes just get denied cos the girl/guy ratio at the place is too unbalanced.

Yep... wonderful Sydney.

Children Of Bodom is grest. But i dont agree about iron maiden.

Yeah CoB are awesome, but I reckon Iron Maiden are better by far. They've also got much better artwork.

Some awesome bands I'm digging at the moment:

Pathogen - from Western Australia. I saw them supporting Children of Bodom, and I'm tempted to say that Pathogen are better. A song or two available at their site.

Event Horizon - dunno much about these guys. Apparently prog metal or something. A lot of songs available for download.

Agalloch - Amazing... I can't get enough of these guys.

Ensiferum - Metal + Medieval = Awesome.

Response to: knox and claymation and shit Posted October 22nd, 2005 in General

It's pretty simple, Knox is like pop music.
He's tapped into what appeals to the target audience, and mass produces it with minimal effort for a lot of return.
The reason that this pisses off people such as DanAbnormal and I is because we know that there are many more talented, harder working and overall superior clay animators who get nowhere near the recognition he does.

I am. it looks really good and it broke the world record of teh longest klaymation EVER!!

So you can subject yourself to his crap for even longer! WOW! A whole one and half hours of utterly unfunny, poorly animated rubbish! What an AWESOME deal!

Have you seen the new trailer? Knox takes his claymen outside in the "real world" and uses way cool special effects.

Oh wow, this Knox is some sort of a revolutionary. He's finally doing something decent clay animators have been doing for ages. A-freakin-mazing.

Too bad his humour (if it can even be called that) will still be horrendously lame.

Now that you mention it, there was a depressing lack of Phallic objects this year. I knew something was missing.

Strangely, now I feel a desperate urge to put myself into a coma and wake up just in time for the next meet.

Response to: Any Children of bodom fans on ng? Posted September 7th, 2005 in General

CHILDREN OF BODOM! Oh yeah! They rock in an extreme manner that causes small animals to explode.

I'm going to see them live in less than a month. I fear that I may die.

Our meet was made a lot groovier when one certain S-Mart employee showed up.
This should also answer the question as to who got Neph preggers.

Fun? Horrific more like. I may never sleep soundly again.

Here is a picture in which it looks like Nepthys is getting gangbanged. You know its true.

Reason: That picture is more than it appears to be. In the bar we were singing the aforementioned oompa loompa song at such a loud volume level that we were arrested and taken to jail, which happened to be full of oompa loompa's who took great offense at the song, and proceeded to "break us in" for several hours straight. That photo was taken during the third of those hours.

Note: due to their height, the oompa loompas are not actually visible in shot, but let me assure... they are there. Oh how they were there.

*shivers*

If you look very closely at the pics from the meet there is a lot more than meets the eye. For one... all the clothing was added in photoshop, and the poses were re-arranged. The original pics were just too hawt for the internet.

You should have told him to dance on the bar or something. Pure gold.

We were actually going to get him to dance on the dance floor BUT they had a $10 cover charge and we were all too cheap to pay it. In retrospect, this was probably for the better, although I guarantee you the dance floor would have been on fire. Fire baby!
