i dont think it happens as easily or as often as you think. you dont just 'go crazy' there are many contributing factors that build up to someone doing something drastic like kill someone.

I am pretty sure that a lot of the egg distribution companies just filter those double yolk eggs out with some sort of UV light or whatever.

Lots of food goes to waste every day because it doesn't look right, milk can still be good after the expiration date but some people can't get over the stigma associated with it.
