Response to: scared of nuclear warfare? Posted August 22nd, 2007 in Politics

The problem with saying that it's safe underground is called entropy. In other words, nuclear waste will seep into the ground also. And, we would need one HUGE underground bunker to fit all the people in it. Anyway, I'm not activley scared of nuclear warfare anytime soon. Nuclear weapons are not at fingertips. They are in iron vaults with all kinds of checks and balances. But, ya. Nuclear weapons should not be alowwed in the long run.

umm... ya. Most people know that and I don't feel hat it really answers the question. Care to explain more? Or was that it?

Response to: America... I am tired of it Posted August 22nd, 2007 in Politics

Yes, and if you're STILL fat after following the seven steps then you have my sympathy. You're genetics really kind of screwed you over and everyone will hate you for being fat. But, cases like that are rare so... FOLLOW THE 7 STEPS OF WONDER!!!

I just google mapped it and it appears to be a barren patch of land. It's not THAT suspicious.

Well... LaCrosse isn't as widely reported as the NFL. (In the U.S. anyway) And while I can't think of a specific example off the top of my head i'm sure there are thousands of counter examples to the post about a black stripper. It's just that the vast majority of people don't care, so it goes unreported.

You're assuming that they will be doing back breaking manual labor.

I don't know. I'm just guessing but I think that we are not the only country that thinks: that everyone else thinks: we're stupid and ignorant.

Ya, but what percent of gays are pedophiles. I'm guessing not a lot.

Masturbation: Many teens are masturbating right now! Not only is it a sin, it also cuts productivity down! Also, the Christian Science Foundation has just learded that all rapists, pedos, necrophiliacs, and gays start out a cronic masturbaters. If those people didn't masturbate, they wouldn't become be no rapists, pedos, necrophiliacs, and gays!

Doesn't EVERYONE start out as a chronic masterbater? Also, if they didn't masterbate they would become YOU.

God in school: Kids are becoming atheists because Liberals are taking away Jesus from our childrens hearts. They'll become atheists and, thus, be easily brainwashed into believing left wing veiws.

True, true. Except for the brain washing part. There is nothing subliminal about the public school system. The public school system does not deny Gods exsistence. It simply doesn't mention it at all. Brain washing children by actively telling them something is YOUR job.

After that we'll trick Canada into thinking that we will protect the Artic. While we move our forces up north, we'll launch a full invasion.

So... you want to beteay Canada? umm... ya.

Privatization: Along with keeping health care privatized, we should also privatize the Fire Department, the Police Department, and education.

Maybe in the future that could happen, but for now I'd just worry about health care.

Yes. Yes, the media DOES blow everything out of proportion. What I hate about the media is that people actually beleive what the television tells them! I find it rather scary and disgusting.

oh, ya. Like being fat isn't enough of a tax already. Healthcare is so much more expensive when you're fat.

I like to think of God (if there is such a thing) as enormous guy writing his own book with himself as the main charecter. I think it would be a pretty boring book if there was no antagonist.

Response to: America... I am tired of it Posted August 22nd, 2007 in Politics

Ya really. Talk about ignorance. People should be aloud to be fat and/or ignorant if they want to be.

I beleive you're confusing Fascism with racism. Mussolini was fascist. Hitler was racist AND fascist.

Well, thanks for the sentiment. But I don't need you to feel sorry for me. I would use the self checkout if the line was shorter though. But when you call for tech support or something don't you prefer to get a human as opposed to an automated system. I do. Plus, I feel silly when I get pissed at a machine (Which makes me more pissed) but it's justifiable to get pissed at a person.

Response to: Why Canada hates the US Posted August 20th, 2007 in Politics

ya... but then we wouldn't have anything to debate about. Peace can't exsist in the politics forum because then it wouldn't be a very good politics forum. Sorry Charlie. (really)

P.S. it's totally unfair to hate Americans for Bush because we didn't ELECT him. Not only did he lose the popular vote (stupid electoral college) it was also rigged.

Response to: Consent Posted August 20th, 2007 in Politics

Ya, but your idea of common sense may be different from other peoples idea of common sense. See, your assuming that you HAVE any common sense. If you didn't you would probably think you did. On the flip side it's possible that I have no common sense. But, then again, that's all just common sense.

Response to: Suicide is a crime?! Posted August 20th, 2007 in Politics

I've heard that suicide is a crime before too. But I think this is done mostly in an attempt to catch people who fail at suicide and institutionalize them before they hurt themselves or others.

Response to: education system Posted August 20th, 2007 in Politics

I'd have to say that while you make a good point it is just common sense that school is good. Sometimes the things they teach you will come in handy later on, even if you can't see it yet. But, you don't have to beleive a word I say anyhow because school attendance is cumpulsory anyway.

Response to: Why are most young people liberal? Posted August 20th, 2007 in Politics

Most young people (myself not included I'm 17 but slightly conservative) are liberal because of the media. I am sick and tired of hearing all these statistics about this and this many people die of that every year. It's a wonder anyone survives. Which is precisly how I know it's all lies. And the thing that really cracks me up is when they say something is "linked" to something else. For example: Chemotherapy is linked to cancer. This is true because people that have cancer often undergo chemo-therapy. This does not mean that chemo-therapy causes cancer. There are other less obvious examples that I don't feel like brainstorming right now because this on illustrates the point well enough. So the next time you hear someone say this is linked to that. Don't asume that the former is the cause of the latter. It may be the other way around.

Because the outsourcing of human jobs to machines is a lot worse than outsourcing overseas. If this trend continues (sorry to get sci-fi on you) there will be a huge gap between the rich and the poor. Plus no one will have jobs. And I think the world would be awfull depressing if every clerk and other human I interface with on a regular basis was a computer. People would feel kind of alone.
