Yeah it is a real tradeoff in terms of your audience and how much respect you get from each one. Personally I think this collab was better off without the nudity for several reasons, one of them being the overall topic. 'Fab' to many says gay which would basically be a collab of buttsecks. Another reason is that there's already way too much hentai and other crap here.

Yeah, it would've appealed to more people if we had an adult rated Fab Collab. Thats really the only reason I would want it. So many more people would check it out then.

Response to: The Fab Collab! Posted July 6th, 2009 in Game Development

Im all you got! so listen to me!

so yeah... anyway, K-gaure, I know you keep saying that your almost done, but can you at least tell us HOW close? maybe a percentage?

Uh. Listening?...

Percentage would be nice.

Response to: The Fab Collab! Posted July 5th, 2009 in Game Development

I feel you man. I was physically active, kinda, but then i got introduced to video games and computers. It made me soft also. But why are you sad about that? Why would you want to go back and change it? If I had a chance to go back in time and change things, I would refuse it. Why? Because every little thing we've done, every tiny step we made has all contributed to who we are today. Me, i wouldnt want to change who I am, even though sometimes im not happy with it.

I'd change it because I don't like how I'm inactive and weak and pale all the time.

I'll whine about it to my psychiatrist, maybe he's got something for me.

COLLAB-WISE

Do we have an estimated percentage on how far the collab is coming along?

At 7/4/09 08:39 PM, MichaelHurst wrote: Down like sick or down like sad? If its the second one, why?

Sad because I feel like I missed my chance to get outside and be physically active when I was a little kid. I feel like I got sidetracked with video games and digital art and it made me soft.

Response to: The Fab Collab! Posted July 4th, 2009 in Game Development

It makes me really happy to see that I got co-author, it really does. On the un-fabulous side I'm feelin' kinda down right now.

Hey anything we can do to help, we'll do.

It is kinda hard to get stuff back and forth from each other though, it takes a long time.

Response to: Famous Last Words Colab Posted July 2nd, 2009 in Game Development

Even though I only have about a week, could I still make a part? My idea;

Fast-Food Drive Thru guy says 'Would you like fries with that?" In that muffled microphone voice just before a car pulls up and shoots him, and drives off. The car goes offscreen for a second, then goes into reverse and picks up the Happy Meal sitting on the counter, then drives off again.

Yes, I would like to help other things as well. Preferably art/animation wise.

I can only do stop(); :c

Alright. Heres a preview of what I have right now:

Just for the record I can draw my own stuff and I originally started this project as a walk cycle practice, and it ended up evolving into a Madness short I plan on finishing.

I'm kinda interested in this, but I have one question; are custom made Madness Combat sprites allowed? I've used some of the same pieces but if you look at the picture on my latest news post you can see what I'm talking about. I drew up my own sprites using pre-made ones and came up with my own ideas, but I understand if it's not original enough.

Response to: The Fab Collab! Posted June 17th, 2009 in Game Development

Also when will the collab be out again? Last I heard we're still waiting for that last piece to be incorporated.

Response to: fab collab art contest Posted June 17th, 2009 in Art

Well I didn't win but I guess thats ok since I would have to explain to my parents why I was getting a shirt in the mail from people I've never met. The Counter-Strike piece I made wasn't completely done unfortunately, I was experimenting with some different colors for the characters but didn't have enough time.

Response to: The Fab Collab! Posted June 16th, 2009 in Game Development

As I posted on the Collab Topic, I will be gone for about a week. If I win or something please wait for me before giving the prize to someone else if you start judging in the next few days.

Response to: The Fab Collab! Posted June 16th, 2009 in Game Development

Sounds like things are picking up again which is good.

Healthwise:

Not doing so great. I've had a fever and stuff since Monday and I'm not feeling too great.

Travelwise:

I will be in Wisconsin to throw a party for my grandparents over the course of 5 days starting Thursday. This really sucks. Not only might I be sick when we go there but I hate Wisconsin (And the midwest in general) with a passion.

I might be able to check in here and there on the free Wi-Fi we get at the hotel we booked so this isn't goodbye. If the collab is released before I get back however, great working with everyone. I loved the atmosphere of this collab topic and enjoyed the ease of everything. This was my second collab and I'm looking forward to joining many more.

Response to: The Fab Collab! Posted June 13th, 2009 in Game Development

But won't that make the collab take longer because we have to incorporate your new part?

Sorry to be a party pooper.
