Posted: 11/26/09 01:55 AM

Forum: General

Nothing. I'd change absolutely nothing.

The reason the world is the way it is now, is because this is the way it was meant to be. Death, conflicts, wars and all. If it weren't, something supernatural would have stepped in to fix things by now.

I'm hoping that when Monster Hunter Tri is released in the U.S., we'll have a special bundle with the game, a black Wii, and that new Classic Controller Pro.

Of course, if you understand Japanese, you could just import that exact bundle right now...

Like others, I usually remember people by their level icon/aura.

Though, sometimes it's hard to keep up with people's sigs because of all the sig fads the spring up.

To be honest, it depends on the subject matter of whatever conversation they're having?

Don't you think it would be interesting to hear two people talk about quantum mechanics during their sexy times?

Posted: 11/18/09 09:56 PM

Forum: General

Well, you should know that that first picture and your links are from cartoons that were made before the 1960s civil rights movements, and you last two pictures are from Japanese animes. The Japanese (to this day) aren't really fond of black people, but even now, there's much smaller traces of racism in recent animes.

So basically, you're completely outdated.

You can, actually. Adobe Illustrator has a feature called "Live Trace", where a raster (bitmap) image is converted from pixels to vector paths and shapes. Then from there, you can use the "Live Paint Bucket" tool to tweak some colors in the image you think might have not converted correctly. In Photoshop, you can also do a slightly safe enlargement by adjusting the image size with the "Bicubic Smoother" option.

Of course, to use Illustrator or Photoshop, you'll have to burn somewhere around 800 dollars.

For a cheaper way, there's also Vector Magic.

Posted: 11/18/09 08:48 PM

Ah, I never notice that, as I'm usually the very last person to turn in their test.

However, sometimes, I really do think that the great amount of people who get up at once to put their tests in all did finish at the same time.

It's no wonder how tons of people have similar grades in most of my classes...

I swear, my Digital Design teacher just used the Tree Octopus website as an example of the ability for anyone to make a web page, pay for a domain and hosting, and post up a website with false information.

But, more importantly, you should be focusing on saving the Mountain Walruses.

Oh, they're here, they've always been here.

It's just that because of guys like us, who flock to them like moths to an open flame, they prefer to stay hidden, or, incognito, if you will. Some of them, though, are like your typical Myspace/Facebook/other social networking site whores, but fortunately, they are eventually flushed out and return to their spawn pool.

It's a good thing most of the ones here are quite smart, as well.

Something to do with the 1st amendment.

Oh, it's also quite legal in Japan (of course though, that is quite obvious). In fact, the age of consent over there is only 13. So, apparently, youthful relations are A-OK.

It's because of NG's former legacy of having tons of hentai and adult ads all over the place, even on the front page.

So, since schools generally don't want to associate with material like that, Newgrounds = Blocked.

I'm currently in Trig, and my class went right into it as well, but my teacher is just a constant mover. Even if the class doesn't get the material, she'll move right on, and then spring up a test two days later.

And this is a large class, so there's really no bell curve in our grades; just one low, slightly slanted line.
