The U.S. is already doing so. In being a prominent leader of Globalization. Globalization is an integration of economies through out the world is slowly combining both culture and economic well being.
:"It might stop any future wars from happening, but many cultures would be lost."
To honestly believe that conflict can be resolved by a total domination and through a process of enslavement is down right ridiculous. Rebellions would surely follow any attempt at this I.E. our lovely terrorist attacking the U.S.
In your studies you can note some of the historic empires that have attempted to accomplish this goal one of the most prominent one being the Roman Empire. Attempt to compare their accomplishments with ours and see if we are heading down the same road. :)
I'm going to go out on a limb here but here is a website in which Revelations is explained:
Apocalypse The Unveiling
Now mind you I seem to get a great sense of apprehension from most of the poster on here in believing what is said in the bible, but humor me and check it out. The following passage is basically describing how society as a how likes to lay blame on others rather than take responsibility:
"Society at large always tends to "lay blame" as opposed to "taking responsibility" for what they have allowed. Some examples of this are as follows. Jesus was killed and society blamed Judas Iscariot. World War Two sweeps over the world and society blames Hitler. The Vietnam War is blamed on politicians. The amount of sex and violence in our society today is blamed on actors and directors in Hollywood. Our illegal drug problem is blamed on drug dealers.
Even though the persons mentioned here, Judas Iscariot, Hitler, Politicians, actors, directors and drug dealers are culpable and liable for much evil: they are but scapegoats. The true blame for these atrocities lies squarely on the shoulders of the societies that stand by and allow the atrocities happen.
It was the people of Jesus' time who were yelling "Crucify Him!" It was the people of Germany who elected Hitler to power. The people of America elected the politicians who paved the way for the Vietnam War. It is the people of the world that pay for the movies and television shows that have eroded our moral balance. Finally, if there were no market for illegal drugs there would be no drug dealers."
Very good point :)

Cuba wouldnt become a state unless we took the fuckers over and claimed the land as our own.
I agree with the last guy about not adding states but if I had to choose i'd go with Cuba. Really close, nice climate tourists and tropical fruit, and one less dictator.
We tried to take over cuba once. It was the failed Bay of Pigs Invasion. America doesn't seem to like others that don't exactly meet eye to eye close by....

Yeah being an ally with the "beast" can have its benefits....I personally think I’ve been reading a little too much Revelations and other prophetic type novels lately. But does anyone else notice a resemblance of the US to the Roman Empire?

Yeah, France and the US seem to have a bitter past. They seem to bounce back and forward from ally to enemy, also we should note that they were allies while it best suited them IE...aiding America during our struggle for independence since they saw a benefit as setting us up as a trading partner after the war, but then again the US has done the same. To be honest I think it’s probably healthy for a country to be not always quick to jump the bandwagon of the US.
Politics....:sigh: that’s always a tough situation most people hold too much of a strong belief in some type of idea to be able to acknowledge the oppositions points, but yeah it may seem most people come running to us for help...hey we also help those that don't want it :)

Well when you have the most powerful military/Money/power people will tend to gravitate towards you for help, but i'm not sure that people once they get help simply turn their back to the US. I'de probably say they turn their backs to us when they see we no longer have interest in helping them...
Can you give a few examples so i can get a better of idea of what you are trying to look at?
