To explain, no one knows how large the wild lands are. The Peninsula that is the world of the 2nd FERP is connected to a larger geographic entity by a small strip of land, you could call it a temporary land bridge that will soon be covered by a fordable layer of water, or you could call it a very short passageway to the larger entity. The wild lands are small because, as HTT said,

I don't really suppose the wild lands are too significant.

Hold, I'm still writing my essay on the wild lands.

Raven laguz Treyit Neyn first theorized the possibility of much more land beyond the border of Iilya (The I looks too much like an L...), the land explored by daring teams of adventurers had yeilded no land that could be conquered or lived upon-the little places that did not contain so much natural danger were not worth living upon.
Treyit's theory spread quickly into the minds of scientists around the known world. Many more came up with different theories, superstition, reasons to why the land beyond was so ferocious. Even today, 40 years after Treyit's breakthough theory, there are still very few who want to venture into the Wild Lands and see what they have to offer. Fewer that go in come back alive.

Question- Do you think of zombies as weak, or powerful?

I say that they are weak, and further weak by their much lowered brain activity and possible injuries. Some zombie myths and statistics say they are stronger than the average human, but say no to this, as I believe it would be quite easy to kill a zombie if you damaged it's brain enough. I think the only thing making it "stronger" is its bloodthirsty insanity.

Chapter 8 continued \

The (quadruple?) followed the millepede-like Jioryan down a flight of stairs, which went down for what seemed like half an hour. After walking for the quoted time, the dim liights around the tunnel were replaced by a bright, greenish light that dyed everything a magnetic-vision yellow.
(Note- Night-vision has been advanced to the point were the colors are normal instead of green. The types of enhanced vision commonly used are Night, Thermal, Magnetic, and Poison vision, but extremely classified and new Pxnton scanner technology has produced rumors of even more types of seeing and detection)
Unlike the outside atmosphere, this new chamber was sufficiently oxygenated, as Jade, Janus, Whit and Hygan's air spherical filtration devices (ASFD) powered down, exposing the smell of machinery and other various scents.
"We be here."
announced Hygan. The Jioryan skittered away to a transport ship, leaving its followers behind.
"Come! I must acquaint you with Thoughtless."
said Hygan, somewhat happy to be what the three humans thought his 'home base' was.
"Hygan, I would like to know why this man is named 'Thoughtless'"
inquired Janus. "...and while I'm at it, why am I asking you all the questions? This is too suspicious."
"Please, I no trickster!"
Hygan tried to explain. "His real name is 'Lost', which you may think is equally strange. He is called 'Thoughtless' because it is said he thinks o nothing but the revolution."
"The revolution?"
snapped Dejanus.
"Thoughtless will explain, now come!"

A human sat in a recliner-ish chair beyond the door Hygan had guided the three humans through.
"So you've returned."
he said in a strangely accented voice, like human French and Arabian mixed.
"Yes, General."
said Hygan, bowing slightly.
"Please, none of that, and stop calling me general."
Thoughtless said, nodding his hand. "Instead of groveling, please tell me about our guests."
"I would like to know what operation you have going on here first, before we answer."
snapped Dejanus before anyone could answer. Thoughtless turned up an eyebrow.
"Why did you not tell them, Hygan?"
"Thoughtless, I do not tell them, because I mess up the story. I not good at story-telling."
explained Hygan.
"Very well, humans,"
Thoughtless turned to the three humans in front of him and began his explanation.

Have you heard of the terrible condition of the Lettisan United Nations?
It was a good system two hundred years ago, when it was first formed. All the weak, less powerful nations and species would join together for the benefit of all. They were closely knitted together, helping each other and immediately entering an interstellar golden age. Fo a while, it seemed the Lettisan nations were to be the most powerful in the known universe, when an unexpected event came up. The Grand Emporer was assassinated, and the Lettisan epublic fell into disarray. The senators and reprasentatives came together and formed a single house, where all nation's reprasentatives and speakers would meet and discuss problems frequently. With this, they opened the generous offer of allowing any nation to join the alliance. With this motive, they hoped to pull in the Flett, Vicona, Human, Jioryan, and other great races in, but their plan did not work. Instead, many very weak, economically unimportant and starving nations begged for entrance, and were taken in. Soon, there were so many poor and lawless nations welded into the Republic, it split 55 years ago and became a loose confederation. The Senate House would still offer much support, but it would mostly be unable to help. Nations broiled into conflict with one another, and the Senate no longer mattered. This has been happening since 20 years ago, and we, and our benefactors and branches, are the rebellion. The rebellion, unknown, but soon to take over the Lettisan 'Republic' and bring it back to its golden age.

"What?! Are you insane? Going up against the Republic in armed rebellin would be tantamount to suicide."
Janus said, shocked.
"We have many powerful allies..."
said Thoughtless.
"...And we have sent ambassadors to many nations. Actually, you are the ambassadors."
"President William Bush and the War Cabinet is paying attention to it, but the House of Reprasentatives highly disapproves our support. We still need more influence."
Whit said.
"What? Whit? Jade? You're all part of this?"
asked Janus, now in even more confusion.
"You, the anxious one, ask your Cat pals for assistance too-we need all the help we can get."
said Thoughtless.
"You know they won't agree."
"They will."

I'm pretty sure the original Sonic sprite's blue was not all one shade of blue. To make the sprites look better, recolor with black and shades of grey. Same thing possible with other accessories, as well.

If there is no more than one shade, ignore my ignorance.

Response to: Advance Wars Crew Posted January 21st, 2007 in Clubs & Crews

Let me confirm a few things.

1- This club is NOT dying. Inactivity for say, a week or two from a member group totaling seven at most is not at all uncommon.

2- RPing according to a slow-moving online game would be boring and uninteresting-it'd be just like a chronicle-recording what actually happened and spicing it up a little. Also, updates would be slow, which are already delayed by Rper's individual brain farts, writer's blocks, and inability to access the internet.
Also, Advance Wars could be a difficult topic to role-play upon. In order for it to work, we must maintain an order of realism and AW mechanics, and prevent users from making their units super-units, and winning every time, which ruins the inner story.

I'm willing to engineer a role-play for AW, it will be difficult, but we must all pitch in. The main problem, the slowness of the online game, is compounded with all of the regular problems, so I am naturally reluctant upon following an online game.
