What is Starcraft 2?

Starcraft 2 is the Sequel of the most popular RTS of all times (of all times yo), Starcraft, a Blizzard game (quality shit). It is of course a RTS, taking place in a (distant) future. Basically if you don't know what the hell Starcraft is, you really deserve a good spank so I'll stop describing it right now.

All you need to know is that there's 3 races; Protoss, Zergs and Terrans.

Having played a fairly decent amount of Warcraft III ladder games, an insane amount of Starcraft I Fastest and Ladder games, and a mad amount of Use Map Settings / Custom games, I really can't wait to experience the SCII gameplay, campaign, graphics and new units. The new Map Editor also looks pretty amazing. I can't wait to play with it. The fact you can make First Person Shooter / 3rd Person / Arcade games is so amazing it left me in awe when my friend told me about it a few weeks ago.

The only sad thing is that the game is about 99% over and ready. The only thing stopping the game from being in my god damn computer is Battle.net 2.0.

Battle.net 2.0 is a new and improved version of Battle.net that will rely every Blizzard games together (Kinda like Steam) and that will merge every chats / friend lists / etc. together. So basically someone playing World of Warcraft will be able to talk to someone playing Starcraft II without having to switch game. But it looks like it's taking forever for them to finish up BNET 2.0, pushing the SCII release to future dates.

Meanwhile, we can always jack off to gameplay trailers on YouTube. (not really)
