Posted: 10/25/09 10:43 PM

Yes I know I am leaving newgrounds bla bla bla, however I am extremley interested in doing this project. I will do any voice acting that you might need as well as perhaps make a title screen out of a monprint. My example monoprint artwork can be seen here. Denzel-Crocker will be doing a part and I am voicing his, so i might as well offer voicing for any other parts.

So if you would like me to be the main voice actor, send me a PM or something and you can send pms to the artists who who are participating in this telling them that I can voice for them.

Thanks!

Three things.
1) I'm yanking your chain.
2) I'm a guy.
3) I'm 6 ft 5in tall.

Care to rephrase that comment?

Just hold onto your manly skirt doublestuff.

GUESS WHAT GUYS ALL THE JUDGES HAVE FINISHED!

All I need to do now is some math and viola! Let me first finish studying for the ACTs however. :)

Thanks for your patience!

Just hold onto your skirt shortstuff, we are getting them together. Right now I am very busy studying for the ACTs so i got to focus on other things than this right now eheh. I am waiting for one more judge to send in his results, once I get them I start the judging and talley up the scores.

Good luck to all competitors!

Dude you guys have a lot of imagination in yah. use that noggin of yours to make some great voices, I know you guys can if you put your mind to it.

We just need results from one more judge and then i can add everything up. BTW those beaver cookies were orgasmic. And lol to the poems that keep being written about me, even though im not fat at all and weigh a mere 120 pounds. Every kid that sees me online always says HEY YOUR NOT FAT and I slap them in the face and continue on my merry way to whatever the hell us nerds do in our spare time.

I'm listening to a variety of music, from Shiny Toy Guns to Beethoven to ragtime. Which is probably why the title of the story is called Major Tom.

It's weird, but it's easier (at least for me) to write something with something going on in the background to inspire.

Thats exactly what I do. Strangely enough i listen to trance whilke writing scenes with blood and horror lol. Music helps me concentrate.

Topic: Monoprinting Art Thread!

Posted: 10/10/09 07:34 PM

Forum: Art

"Monoprinting is a form of printmaking that has images or lines that cannot exactly be reproduced. There are many techniques of monoprinting, including collage, hand-painted additions, and a form of tracing by which thick ink is laid down on a table, paper is placed on top and is then drawn on, transferring the ink onto the paper. Monoprints can also be made by altering the type, color, and pressure of the ink used to create different prints. Examples of standard printmaking techniques which can be used to make monoprints include lithography, woodcut, and etching."

- Wikipedia

So anyway, I have a monoprinting class. it is the first art class I have ever had and im starting to like it. Ive tried drawing art before, and realized I sucked. With monoprinting, however, I can be abstract. I am good with abstract... or so I think. I would appreciate responses to some of this art.

This thread isnt just for me though, it is for all monoprints and monoprint makers. If you know someone who has any monoprints theyd like to share, direct them to this thread. Here are a couple of examples that I did.

Happy to help.

I should feel embarrassed that my amount feels so low compared to the $100+ donations but really I can't feel that way. I feel grateful to those large donations for putting my charity to shame. It's really a big help.

Gagsy its the thought that counts. You DONATED. Thats a hell of enough. The guy who donated 100 knows denzelcrocker like I do, and tom fulp has the money to spare, plus is showing how much he cares about the NG community. You could have used that money to buy the tentacle dildo you wanted Gagsy, but instead you donated to help repair floors. :)

Guys, will is about to tell what he is going to do with 23,000 pesos. *500$ = about 23,000 Philippine pesos*

With this many pesos popart and crocker will be able to fix their floors and walls so they can be warm again, then they are buying clothes and chicken sandwiches for about 100 people. We are going to film it using a video camera and post it on youtube and NG. We were already making a sort of 'poetic' movie about poverty, and already have about 1 hour filmed of the city and people living on the streets. We will narrow it down to about 10 minutes or so and show the poor being helped, man it will be great. I I think we are anyway, if not they are most certainly donating the food and clothes.

He is about to make a post, denzel-crocker, and him and popart and i are freaking excited. You dont know how happy I am that this charity worked out. I thought it might if I contacted tom.. and holy SMOKES. HE DONATED 300 FREAKING DOLLARS!!! And then we have a 100 dollar donation and... jeez!!

Just like... god THANKS.

WOWW. Tom fulp made a front page post about this! Great! Maybe now they will be able to get enough money to get the help they need. Their neighbors have it a whole bunch worse, so knowing pupart and denzel they will contribute most of the money to the houses in worse condition than theirs.

UPDATE

Denzels home was flooded before, but luckily with a lot of hard work he managed to clean it out. He lost a lot of his stuff due to the flood but at least he has a roof to live under now. Pupart helped him clean his house. They told me they will use most of the money they receive for their other family members, who has it a lot worse than they do.

Thanks a lot tom for mentioning this in a post! We all really appreciate it.
