Your only solution is to vacate the country since you make a social contract to obey the laws of the US by staying here. The simple act of living on American soil is tantamount to giving them permission to tax you. Don't like it? Run for office or find a candidate you can support with your viewpoint. If enough people share your viewpoint your idea will become the new pushy minority.

It already works that way. Next chance you get, go look at any bill. After the main bill there's almost always earmarks. That's representative government working at it's finest.
The issue of it being fatal is two-fold. It's far more dangerous to people with already surpressed or suboptimal immune systems, i.e. pregnant women, the young, the old, people already or getting over being sick. The other situation is inadequate medical care, whether voluntary or not. If someone gets swine flu and doesn't adequately treat the symptoms of flu its very dangerous. High body temperatures are debilitating. If you let it get away from you there's not much you can do about it before irreparable damage is done. People need to know the facts and respond accordingly. Knowledge is half the battle.

I moved on. She broke the part of me that could love her. Now I seem to have my twin's talent for attracting the broken ones. Some great sex though.
Good luck with that paper though. Must be nice not having to deal with all the female bs most of the time, eh?

Rofl! You're going to make me that vampire from Blade who went on to play the father in "Grounded for Life"? I love it.

Shrike, as well, is doing the gf/family type thing. His brother Uber is still on, though.
Should have seen that coming.
Good luck with that. And by "good luck with that" I mean that human fat is both difficult to render and uneconomical, however I will gladly kill you and make you into christmas candles.
I shall take your words of encouragement and run with them to the nearest kindergarten playground to have freaky sex and throw the condoms on the ground instead. That way we're both happy.
O.o

What were you doing in all that time?
Same thing we do every night Pinky....
Seriously? I found the perfect girl for me but couldn't hold onto her. She dumped me but still loves me I guess (according to her mother who became a close friend and new neighbor) and in her sorrow put on 250 pounds (She was a little heavy to begin with.) and now I'm dating a model who's great in the sack lets me get away with pretty much anything but is not mentally stimulating if you catch my drift.
Finished up my run as moderator of my church and glad to be rid of it.
Still working the same dead end job and not giving a crap about school other than its effects on my taxes.
Oh yeah I bought a house. A big house. Thank God for the stock market without which I would be a penniless bastard.

Cosme is an ex-soldeir who now works in a circus as a clown.
He rapes the main character in the play years ago-- and then marries with the mother's daughter.
O.o Riiiight. lol I'm sure it'll be great in any case. Is the daughter his child cause that would be pushing it for me?

Guess that answers my dillema. Make me the cheesemeister. That only applies if 1 you're not a public figure for the community and/or 2 he's or anyone else is making any money whatsoever based on the project and/or 3 he's publishing it in such a way that invades lives. So watch out for that stafff and you're golden to kill him off as the person who dies in such a way as to cause the spy investigation in the first paragraph.

Dad came home yesterday, less than 24 hours after surgery.
Well at least he's doing ok. What is it with dad's and surgery lately? My father fell off a ladder and cut into his eyebrow about a pinky finger's length. Also cracked his ankle. Blood, stitches, and plaster all over the place. Now my mother is the only one in my family without some sort of scar over her eyebrow.

Why do you think the electoral college system was established in the first place?
Music is an art a medium for expression. It is only natural to express one's feelings or views in music, but the trick is to conceal them or make them harder to understand.
Does it? Where in the name of art does it say that a rose by any other name still isn't a rose? I'll agree with you that mainstream artistic expression lacks the depth it once did, but that doesn't make it any less powerful or artistic. Art, more often than not, is an expression of the times, and if art has become more straightforward then I would assert that it's indicative of a cultural desire for straightforwardness.
At 2/14/07 03:54 PM, MortifiedPenguins wrote: Music has the right, nay the obligation to protest and use it's medium for political purposes.
But does that obligation apply to those who have little idea concerning what the state of the world really is? It wasn't as hard not so long ago. The World Wars and Cold War had really easy sides and viewpoints to choose. War or peace? Root for those who slaughter innocents, seek freedom, or just kill the guilty? It's a little harder these days where it seems that both major (and I use the term loosely) sides seem dedicated to annihilation. When both powers at war only care about making their way of life dominant does rooting for anyone make sense? And if it does, shouldn't you seek your own truth than be dominated by, of all people, pop figures?
Cursing is one of those boderline things that requires discretion. The best example I have are my weekly card games. One of our guys can't get a baby sitter and so brings his 8 and 10 year old boys around. Swearing immediately stops as soon as they enter. Normally we swear more than the average person, but there are just some things you don't do in front of children. And if this happens to be an acceptible case then can't people see the case can be made in other instances?
To be perfectly honest I could care less about what the Dixie Chicks say outside of their lyrics. They are entertainers, but that's as much attention as I will ever give them. The only reason they've been targeted is because the main audience demographic were so closely united in their opinion of Bush at the time that they made them pariahs. What they said wasn't anywhere near as inflamatory as what Kanye West said about Bush and he hasn't recieved anywhere near that flack that the Dixie Chicks did. Why? Two reasons. First the demographic that listens to West are more likely to be of similar opinion. Second, and this is the crux of my arguement, he's an entertainer. If any of these people were political science experts or international dignitaries I, and others of the same mind, might actually be interested in their opinions regarding political figures. This issue isn't so much about what they say as much as it is about hero worship in the United States. The opinions of people should be weighed carefully depending upon a number of factors. Level of celebrity should not be one of them.

I'm more excited for the FF movie than I thought I was. You can catch trailers for it on the net now. The only problem with these movies is that they have to reset the comics so people who pick up the related titles after they see the movie don't get confused. Silver Surfer becoming a villain again? I guess it works but I'm disappointed.
Annihilation was awesome! Who picked it up and liked it?
WTH is up with the whole underlying meaning behind 52? Usually I'd get something like this but clues on the covers? Tiny hints within the plotlines? Bah, I'm not catching any of it. Doesn't mean the storyline is any less exciting.

There will be other opportunities to revel in drunkeness, but you're not likely to see your cousin for a longer time than it'll take the next opportunity to arise.
